Got ya thanks. Not sure what that has to do with people wanting to play online now. So people on the east coast have to wait until 12 noon to play online? Wow!

Just played a quick 3 inning MOM tryout. Good news is you can use all the camera angles including all 30 teams broadcast. Game looks fantastic, colors and lighting jump out at u bigtime!

More later on my first experiences with the game, but I just wanted to point out one thing: I decided to go with a Carpenter vs. Dempster matchup because Wainwright is hurt and out for the season in real life.

Guess what happens to Carp in the second inning?

Played first game O's (me) vs Nats. Lost 5-4. It was Livan Hernandez vs Brian Matusz. Hernandez pitched just like he should. Junk ball, rubber arm. Lots of 66-69 mph curves that baffeled me. He struck out 9 in 6 innings throwing over 100 pitches. I struggled with Matusz and analog pitching left some ball in the heart of the plate and paid for them. I banged out 10 hits 5 doubles and a HR. I had a GR double that cost me a run and Nijer Morgan robbed me of a HR to center that would've given me the lead in the 8th.

Honestly that was probably one of my top 5 MLB gaming experiences. Everything felt "right". Got good hit variety. Can a Philly fan confirm that Worth is a free swinger. I swear in 4 ABs he saw a total of 4 pitches.

Analog controls have grown on me. Strangly that is because of the 2K11 demo. I mentioned that I love contact swing. My first 2 trophies in this game were about battling the pitcher. One for battling back from an 0-2 count and the other for seeing 10 pitches in an at bat. I know its early but Im so impressed by this game.

Am I the 1st person w/ the PSP version? I figured if I'm gonna be stuck at work w/o the PS3 version, some "The Show" is better than no "The Show", right?

Last year, all star skill level was the most sim gameplay I've ever experienced in a sports game right out of the box. This year, my impression is the game was a little too homer happy on All-star mode. What has changed? I just lit Greinke and the Brewers for 6 home runs. I played a second game. Same thing. Lit strasburg and the Nats for 7 someone please tell me this game hasn't gone homer happy on us.

Werth is a free swinger but he also lead the league in seen pitches because he so damn good at fouling them off. When he is slumping hard he will swing at everything! Phils fans will attest to that!

Im in batting practice with a bunch of players now and im loving the analog swing mechanic. Jury is still out on the pitching though.

                    PSP Version:

                    Still no Downloadable Rosters.
                    No Throw Canceling.
No Analog Hitting or Throwing Options. (I think we all knew this wasn't gonna happen)
                    Menus got a slight overhaul.
Load time's seem right about the same as MLB 10.
Crowd's seem to have more depth new sprites and stadiums look a little more realistic like their PS3 counterparts

And for those wondering, there are hidden stances...First one I've seen is Jayson Werth.

loving how smooth the game is playing. Have everything on allstar and pure analog and love it. I have one question as this is my first time playing the show. Why does it tell me after every exibition game that i need to save my roster? like the save section has the check mark saying i need to save it. So i do it and have to create a name for it so i just name is "roster" everytime and just overwrite the previous. I dunno whats up with that and also i did roster update but for some reason its just on default still. any help?

like everyone else, the game play is so smooth. Just played my first game at Petco Park in the rain. I won as the Padres 4-3 over the Rockies. The rain looks amazing. They still didn't fix the frequency of the planes flying into Petco though.

When I was at the SCEA studio in SD, I swear I heard a plane every 5 minutes.

haha, I'm taking a baseball day too!! I NEVER call out of work, this has as much to do with me picking up the game at midnight and playing until 5:30am than wanting to play all day.
