Looking to get some more power into my dodgers lineup. I want to start Sands at some point @ 1B or LF, I would like to pick up a middle of the order bat to fill the other position.

Only untouchables are Kemp, Kershaw, Billingsley,Gordon, and I would like to hang on to Ethier, but if something comes up he wouldn't be a deal breaker. Everyone else is expendable, Loney would be my first choice to go.

Who should I try and snag, and what will it cost me?

Stephen Drew to Boston

Ryan Lavarnay and Jose Iglesias to AZ

Pretty sure I'm going to trade Montero and Drew isn't always hurt in the game like IRL

You better include more going to Boston in the deal.....they would never give up Lavarnway ans Iglesias for Stephen Drew

Hello guys, i started a Franchise with the OAK A's and i'm looking to play it Mr Bean style these are the players i wanna trade, also i have OSFM Rosters.


Manny Ramirez, Grant Balfour, Brian Fuentes, Bartolo Colon, Kurt Suzuki, Cliff Pennington, Coco Crisp, Daric Barton, Jonny Gomes, Michael Taylor & Grant Green


I'm looking for a SS, 3B, 1B & RF i was looking at Jurikson Profar, Xander Bogaerts, @ SS and @ 3B Cheslor Cuthbert, Nick Castellanos, Will Middlebrook and maybe target Billy Butler for 1B but don't know how real that could be. And last for RF maybe try to get Domonic Brown who seems to be stuck in phillies, so which of these guys could i get that would make it the most realistic. Thanks in advance guys! Btw i will posting my progress with some video updates on youtube channel!

Scott Rolen (I assume he will retire at the end of the year)

I didn't try to rip off the computer but fear I may have. The computer would have done Rolen and Bailey for just Valencia so I threw in one of my AAA starters.

What are people's thoughts?

On a semi-related note. I was thinking of signing Jorge Soler. What would a realistic year and dollar amount be? I can sign him for 1.5 million a year but that is totally unrealistic. What do people think on this?

i wuddn't have done that deal....Rolen's gettin old fast but he's still useful plus Bailey is a very capable back-end-of-the rotation starter.....but if u did wanna do that deal,Minny shudd add in another C prospect....and i can't answer your Soler question cause i dunno what's the market for him IRL

You better include more going to Boston in the deal.....they would never give up Lavarnway ans Iglesias for Stephen Drew

for realism's sake, ur right.....although if Drew can stay healthy, he's a proven producer.....Arizona wudd prolly have to give up another solid major-league player or two along with Drew

u'd probably have to include Ethier for any proven major-league power OF or 1B.....how do u feel about Josh Hamilton? (if ur not 100% realistic)

just curious...why would u wanna play with the A's if u gunna pretty much gut the whole team? i realize that most of the guys u named are old and expendable but none of the guys u named would realistically bring u back any of the highly-touted prospects ur coveting.....u shudd focus on trading for 1 or two positions at a time instead of 4..but if u do insist on acquiring one of those stud prospects, Green and Taylor have the most value (obviously)

If you want Profar, you'll have to blow the Rangers away. Plus I don't think they'd trade their #1 prospect away to a division rival.

Wow, that's the entire team. Some of those guys still have some good years left. I'm not good with the Billy Bean style of play, especially since Sabermetrics are not used in MLB 12. I wish you luck, and I will certainly watch the videos.

I playing a franchise with the Astros and obviously in rebuilding mode. 30 games in and Lee is hitting well for me. I could trade Lee to the Phillies, are usual trading partner, for Galvas, Dom Brown, and Trevor May.
Oak for Grant Green, Choice or Taylor, and Chris Carter. They're just not giving up Peacock. Or to Atl for Delgado and Teheran. The Stros are in need of infielders. Would like a SS, 3B, and SP. My SP have been relatively good but the RP's are atrocious. Give me some ideas!! Thanks!!

not that any of the mentioned trades would happen IRL but u gotta take the Braves trade....two top-50 prospects is just too good to pass up....Teheran and Delgado could instantly head the top of ur rotation for years to come...u can always find/develop hitters but pitching is the name of the game
