I couldn't get toronto to bite on just 2 B prospects for Rasmus. They show huge interest in Moylan for Rasmus but they want a little more to. I am targeting a few 3B in the draft so I could give up a 3B prospect. Venters and a good prospect for Rasmus is out of the question. That's when I came across them biting on Moylan. I just don't want to get the short end of the stick by giving them to much for Rasmus. I haven't really looked into Byrd

He's probably in Oakland to stay, yes. He's one of my favorite young arms in their organisation and I hope he does stay. However we've seen in the past that no one is really safe under Billy Beane. They went out and added Holliday for a bunch of prospects

BTW: What do you guys think about that offer:
Phillies get: SP Madison Bumgarner, OF Nate Schierholtz
Giants get: OF John Mayberry Jr.

I'm not sure if I want to give up Mayberry although I'm liking OF Domonic Brown much more than Mayberry. Brown is my everyday LF and Mayberry was sent down to Triple A. The thing here is, SP Joe Blanton has absolutely NO shot to become my 5th starter. He's coming out of the 'pen right now and I'm trying to shop him as soon as possible. So Bumgarner would be a sweet addition to my starting pitching. Seems like Schierholtz is one of those guys with an unacceptable high trade value.

no chance especially after SF just locked up Bumgarner long-term...plus ur not giving them anywhere near enough

The Giants would accept this offer (I tried it already but didn't complete the trade as I was unsure what to do.

(If you guys are asking yourself: I have the Force Trades option turned OFF and some offers have been declined already )

not doubting the validity......it's been established that the trade logic still needs work....jus gotta use good judgment in making fair trades

I want to trade some of the Blue Jays and their prospects for Manny, Furcal and Halladay. I'll trade anyone not named Bautista.

What would be some appropriate trades? Manny I should be able to get easily, but what about the other two guys? Furcal isn't getting younger, would Escobar straight up be okay?

The Phillies are also pretty poor on offense, and Drabek is about to break out. I was thinking maybe Lawrie and Drabek for Halladay?

I agree. I just am not sure what the Royals would need.

I'd trade Berkman, Shelby Miller, Matt Adams. Miller obviously being the centerpiece of my side of the trade.

Think I'm still not giving them enough or would they want Oscar Taveras over Miller since they already have so many quality Starting Pitching prospects?

Or is there pretty much no fair trade I can offer them while packaging Berkman.

Not very realistic, but that gives you a scary rotation.

So in my Yankees franchise I was not getting much help out of the DH with Ibanez. I got the idea of making A-rod my permanent DH. With that idea, I thought about who I could trade for to be my third basemen. I am a big fan of David Freese, especially after last post season. Now I know they would never trade him in real life, but what would be a realistic trade to get Freese?

                                For Freese a top A (like Pineda) + a young B prospect, (must include a 3B)
