The Pirates are almost always out of it as well meaning you could get a guy like Garrett Jones who can play 1B and corner OF. He's batting left though if I remember correctly. Same goes for Nate McLouth who the Pirates would be willing to move.
Are the O's out of it? I'm thinking Nolan Reimold for OF and 1B duty. Good pop and some surprising speed for a big guy. The O's would definitely take on JurrjensFormer modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Hey guys just want to get some opinions on a couple trades I made. I restarted my Red Sox franchise because I got through year one and just couldn't help myself in free agency and ended up with Wright and Beltran. So I restarted and am trying to keep it realistic as possible though it looks like I am going to have to restart this franchise as well because going through league transactions I see a bunch of stupid trades (Trout for Holliday, Jeter for Beltran, Berkman for Freeman, Balfour for Grandal etc etc). Its a shame that 30 team control is a must.
So to my trades, I want to keep things realistic and fair. Let me know if I ripped off the CPU because I don't want to do that.
Red Sox trade:
Kevin Youkilis
Matt Barnes (B)
Stolmy Pimental (C)
Phillies trade:
Vance Worley (A)
Hector Luna
Now I know that the Phillies wouldn't give up Worley for Youk irl, but in the game they had signed Oswalt and Worley was in AAA with a 4.85 ERA. Youk was hitting .283 with 9 homers and a .388 OBP at the time of the trade June 10th. I added some pitching depth from my side to kind of even out the deal. The Phillies were 1GB of the Nats but were 12th in the NL in runs at the time of the deal.
I gave the 3B job to Middlebrooks but he was awful and I had to send him down. At the ASB Pitt was out of it and put McGahee on the block.
Red Sox trade:
Michael Almanzar 21 year old 1B with C potential but was hitting .296/.360/.490 in AA
Brandon Jacobs 21 year old LF with C potential
Pirates trade:
Casey McGahee
Nate McClouth (they would only do the deal if he was included)
In the last trade I wanted to call up Iglesias because he was hitting over .300 at AAA. Det was looking for a SS so
Red Sox trade:
Nick Punto
Tigers trade:
Jose Ortega 23 year old C potential RP. In 32 IP at AA this year he has a 5.68 ERA and 1.69 WHIP.
Are any of those unfair/non realistic? Like I said I will probably have to restart the franchise because of the stupid CPU trades but I want to make sure I am in the right ballpark with my deals.Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Hi everyone! I'm looking to start a franchise with the Yankees, BUT I would like to take a different approach at it. I wanna pretend that the team somehow ran out of money and I have a "salary cap" of about $80 Mil, and I would like to achieve this goal by attempting to trade away most expensive players for fair value. So I ask, to what teams should I trade Cano, A-Rod, Teix, Sabathia, Granderson, Soriano, and Kuroda to and what is fair return for them? I am using V4 of the OSFM rosters. Thanks![CENTER]Follow me on Twitter

Wow! Thanks! I want to start out 2012 "under budget", so I wanna ditch A-Rod too. What about him?[CENTER]Follow me on Twitter
