    Alright I tried a game using the updated changes, used -2/+1 for contact/power to try and get better contact and extra base hits. I also raised the power for the CPU by 1.

    Notes:

    Volquez had a wild pitch but was not recorded an error. Am I wrong that it should be? Also the error that DETROIT had was a rocket ground ball that went right under the legs of Renteria. One of DETROIT'S doubles and the only triple were because of me (user error).

    Now if I could just learn to hit the doubles, occasional triple and of course the dingers I will be very happy. I am very happy that I got whipped by the CPU. First time in about 15 games. Good job, Nemesis

      Your sliders are great man. I used them for 3 innings until I quit.( Didn't realize there was a new roster update). I couldn't believe how much of a challenge it was.

        Glad to see you had a challenging game from the CPU! We just need to find a way have them just be consistent about it. when they show up they will put up a really good fight.

            The one notch increase does not mess up the stealing. It was to address the concern some people were having with the outfielders throwing directly to the base. Just making the plays a little closer!

              Some games you will see that, but generally the cpu will put together a nice variety of hits when they show up to play!

                  You would go to sports connect through the game and go to the My sliders section and download them. You can use them for ALL-Star or HOF.

                  Let me know if you have any questions with them.

                    Um, well, after beating Toronto 2-0 with these sliders, I beat them the following day 17-4. I hit 6 homers without using the power button, and had 24 hits against the likes of Halladay, Burnett, and Jason Frasor. I was also using set 1 hitting for your sliders.

                    I must say that these sliders play a fantastic game of baseball overall, and that my blowout was likely just a coincidence. Just thought I'd bring it up, though.

                        for my sliders, ive looked at everyones on here and made a mixture to fit my style. But i also went in and lowered my position players hitting stats by ten for every person. All my batting avgs were too high and this has seemed to help.

                        I just remember playing 07 with nemesis' sliders and i barely had anyone hitting over 300, now i have a bout 4 or 5 guys. So im trying to tone down my offense, i got my hit quality at -10, power at +1 and timing window at +10. For the Computer i have power at +5 and hit quality all the way up. ive been getting good results, but it just seems like one out of every 4 games i get a huge burst in offense like the sliders im using are the same. but most of the other games are between 5-10 hits on each side and 4-5 runs a game. but there are shutouts and blow outs still. i think ive reached a good point.

                        Also, i put my OF positioning as shallow and turn hum OF speed up a lil bit. This seems to play more realistic than on normal positioning. Which i feel "normal" should be about 5 steps or so in, than what it is now

                          Bring your timing window slider down to -2.

                          Every few games the human team becomes hulk like and puts up a crazy score. I do not know what triggers it!

                            Glad they are working out for you. Those huge offensive outbursts that keep popping up are very weird.

                              Hey Nem, I wonder if all this work on these sliders are in vain? After reading Chris and Brians comments on the gameplay and sliders make me think default with slight adujsments to the Pitcher Aggressiveness, pitch count, are the way to go over the long haul? What do you think? Of course the edits will help out.

                                I thought some of the answers were a little vague. They also did not touch on the cpu offense issue yet. Looking at some of the answers he may not, it looks like he has to follow a fine line with his answers.

                                We know in the past we could adjust sliders and improve the game experience. This year should be no different. Something was done to the cpu this year!
