These sliders look great. I'm gonna start trying them out later today. Quick question though. I fear these may be a bit too hard to hit for me. Sounds like some may be better at hitting than myself. If I'm having trouble hitting, should I just slightly move up hit quality and power to maybe -6 and 0.

      Nemesis,

I know that I am behind the times playing 07, but I love that game. Were you sure about both the human and the cpu contact sliders at -10?

I have been playing with human at -10/ +11 and the cpu at -10 /+9. All your other sliders I haven't changed (I trust you). There just isn't alot of punch at the plate. Did you ever try with contact at default (10) or higher?

You can PM so I don't clog up the 08 thread.

            Nemesis,

Giving these a try right now.

Did you notice the new(?) sliders for OF/IF throwing speed and OF/IF running speed? I left that at default (10) since you did not mention them in your most recent sliders.

            Are these new?

They do not work, that is why I did not include them in the set. I see some other sets where people are adjusting them and I do not know why.

Nice game for the first time using these sliders. Took me a few innings to get used to the new pitch speed but by the end I was pulling 4FB's foul.

Your hit total was a little high in that game. Overall not too bad. I am curious what you come up with after a few more games. Thanks for giving them a go!

Nemesis, you have once again made me feel like I want to win and when I lose, it should suck. This is opposed to the mindset of 'Yeah, I should probably lose this game. It's more realistic.'

                    My last game:

                    STL 6/10/0
                    HOU 3/10/0

                    2B: Pujols (STL)
                    HR: Wigginton (HOU), Ludwick (STL)

I took 3 walks which is better than I had been doing on +2 pitch speed. Not too many XBH but there were a couple I think would've hit the LF gap if it wasn't in Minute Maid Park.
Glad they are working for you! Thanks for trying them!

Hey Nemesis, great job on another amazing set of sliders. I'm just beginning to enjoy the franchise mode as I was on RTTS since it came out. In the first 10 games of the season things seem perfect.

My only question to you is with regards to getting walks. I'm alot more patient this year than in the past, but I can barely manage to get 2 walks or so.

I was wondering about which sliders are most important in terms of getting the BB's up. I have hit quality at -2 because I'm not that great at hitting. Plate vision is at 0 as well.

I'm thinking that plate vision should play an important part in getting 1 or 2 more walks a game. Let me know what you think.

You would have to lower the cpu strike % slider and increase the pitch control slider which actually lowers their rating, increasing balls thrown.

hey nemesis, thanks for the slider set. i was finding that hitting was too easy, and not enough cpu offense. i play both offense and defense using the outfield camera. all i had to do was up the pitch speed 1 notch(for my skill level), that's all. thanks again!

                                Whoa, now I am bamboozled.

Someone in another post is saying tht the CPU Strike Percentage slider is backwards, that going to the right (+10) will result in MORE CPU balls and less strikes.

You are saying, no, lower the CPU Strike Percentage slider, but the Pitch Control slider is backwards, and I should RAISE the slider to get more balls.

Could you talk a bit about how you came to the -4 settings for both of these? Are you seeing realistic CPU pitch counts with these?

So, if I understand correctly, you are saying I will see the most balls thrown by the CPU if I put CPU Pitch Control at +10, and CPU Strike Percentage at -10.

                                Correct?
