why play these on all-star if there meant to be played on HOF?

Good question. These sliders were originally adjusted for All-Star, and I believe Nemesis has mentioned that they can be used for either All-Star or HOF. I have spoke with Nemesis about the differences between the levels and he basically told me that we have to be more accurate with the Left stick in the hitting zone on HOF, and the CPU makes better decisions also. I am getting what I want from All-Star. The CPU beats me up real good when I dont pitch well. I just started a New Season and my record is 2-4 using the Rays. I have lost my last 3 games against the Yankees 9-5, 7-0, 7-3 so I am getting beat on All-Star. I did try a series of 6 games on HOF, but just dont like the feel of the games. The Cpu seems to me to easy and the variety of hits, pitching, fielding, etc... Maybe if I played 40 games on HOF I would feel different, but why fix something that isnt broken. I could sense The difference after 6 games.

Looking forward to these too. I have actually been getting some very competitive games on Skyboxer's All Star sliders, which is a surprise to me as any other slider set I dominate the CPU. Typically with no hitters going through the 1st 5 innings or so. But with Skyboxer's I have been getting shelled with Harang who after two starts has a 7.00 era and is 0-2.

But I definitely would like to try Nem's HOF sliders that he has been working on. Sounds like they will be tough.

Okay, here is where I am at with these. There are a couple of areas that still need some tweaks. Also, the slider set is not on sports connect at this time. At first it will take some time to get used to these because the human hitting side will be difficult and you need to be good with your left stick aiming otherwise you may see too many weak hits.

Ouch, the human batting sliders look brutal. With the sliders sorta "adjusting" themselves throughout the season will this make hitting even harder? Did u happen to test these out at all through the course of a season, or was it exibition games only?

try turning on plate coverage indicator for a bit, so you can get the hang of aiming using left analog

Has anyone tried out the new sliders yet? I started out on Nem's 1st set and then switched to Psycho's for a bit. Now I'm back to Nem's original set and want to get a few games in before trying the new ones so I can get a decent feel for them. I'm liking them so far but was just curious as to how they differ from Nem's new set.

I did all this adjusting in season. They may look scary at first but things even themselves out. I have no doubt that they will be too much for some, they are hard. I put the difficulty back into HOF.

Hey Dowie!

There are different issues with the 08 version, 07 did not have the cpu offense problem so adding those settings would make them out of control. I would still use 07's set for last years game.

I've tried these for a couple games already. They feel great. Up until this point it was almost as if I felt guilty for doing so well against the computer, like it was artificial and I didn't deserve to be doing so well.

Nemesis, you have once again made me feel like I want to win and when I lose, it should suck. This is opposed to the mindset of 'Yeah, I should probably lose this game. It's more realistic.'

STL 6/10/0
HOU 3/10/0

2B: Pujols (STL)
HR: Wigginton (HOU), Ludwick (STL)

I took 3 walks which is better than I had been doing on +2 pitch speed. Not too many XBH but there were a couple I think would've hit the LF gap if it wasn't in Minute Maid Park.
