Re: Blzer's All-Star Sliders and Settings

I going with Blzer's All-Star sliders and that's that. I am tired of tweaking and winning 18-0 and then tweaking again and losing 18-0. I can't hit home runs, but that's more my impatience at the plate than anything else. I played 2 series with his sliders over the past two days and I was 4-2 in Philly and Florida. Actually hit 2 HRs in a game in Philly won 9-6 and 4-1 and lost the opener 4-8 then in Florida got rocked in game 1 losing 9-0 then came back and won 7-3 and 4-2 (I'm LA by the way). I really enjoy this game and if these sliders don't work I will probably just put the game away, BUT these are the best sliders that I've used since moving up to All-Star so let's keep our fingers crossed!

Yes, they have been the same for almost a week now, which is good.

Are you using the Offset camera and everything? I found it to be so much better!

I have liked what I have seen so far from these sliders. I have played 3 games and I have won all 3 but they have all been pretty close asider from the first one I played. What I was really impressed by was that the CPU was actually walking me. It walked the bases loaded on me once already and I have gotten 2-5 walks a game so far and that to me was pretty surprising since i usually dont walk in videogames. Anyway good job on these sliders.

I tried them yanks vs Indians but I just crushed them, 11 to 1 in the 5th, I had 6 homeruns, might have to pick up the pitch speed, Everything otherwise I liked, had some walks in there, and it seemed alot easier to tell if it was in the zone, once again I think pitch speed was a little slow and I was able to crush the ball. They also never seemed very agressive at the plate, Didn't have much time to check out another game. Keep up the good work!

I tried it, but ended up back to "catcher" view....offset makes it hard to determine if the pitches are inside or outside.

Now the question is since I've finally found sliders I like should I restart my franchise? I've played about 35 games and have only hit 17 homers, the Yankees have 68. I guess another question is, can I get fired from my current team?

As it says in my settings.

Basically, everything I have is intended for you guys to do it the same way. Obviously you can vary it however you want, but if you give it some time and get used to it, I think you'll benefit from it.

You can't change sliders in franchise? Wow, I guess I really have to be sure myself.

Yes. The save file, online file, and ones you can input manually are all the same. There are things I've considered changing, but then it means changing everything else (particularly the Foul Ball slider, lowering it a notch).

Yeah man, just keep playing with them. Again, pitch speed is only at 3 because I truly believe that is the closest to real life pitch speed as possible. I may be wrong, but that's just what I feel.

                                Thanks for your input.
