Armour, do you (and should I) switch the 40-man roster to “auto” after I’m done setting up the 25-man roster, lineups and rotations for the cpu teams? The reason I ask is that in my Yankees franchise the Mariners just signed Kimbrel (1 year, $3.8M) and put him in AA. If I put 40-man roster on “auto” will Seattle call him up when they see fit and cut someone? Or should I leave this on “manual”?

Fielder run speed is now at 3 as part of days update.

Folks....we are no doubt locked in now. I am super thrilled. The Slider set feels amazing now. Variety is really going out now.

With the fielders speed at 3 I just beat Seattle in game 2 of my Red Sox franchise 6-3.

Betts hit his 1st HR on the season with a 411 ft blast to left center in the 7th off Altavilla to extend Boston's lead to 5-3.

Martinez, Bogaerts, and Pearce all doubled.
Price went a solid 8 giving up 3 runs on 7 hits and walked 0 with 6 K's.

Barnes picked up his 2nd save notching 2 strikeouts.


Seattle's starter LeBlanc lasted 5 giving up 6 hits 3 runs 3 walks and struck out 4. Santana took Price deep in the 4th with 2 outs and a runner on for their only xbh.

I keep it on auto but you can always go to the team page and do whatever you want without changing it to manual.

So go call up Kimbrel and do a little toser managment!

Thanks for your quick reply. And I assume if I leave it on auto the cpu-controlled Mariners will call him up to The Show and send a guy to the minors when they see fit?

Not necessarily.......the CPU ai will not always (very rarely actually) fill their remaining 15 active roster spots, especially after the regular season has started. My suggestion is .....30 team control .......last day of spring training, make sure all other 29 teams have their best 40 men up in the big leagues......sim last day of spring and advance to regular season....I then let the CPU do their thing but monitor for crazy trades or poor roster decisions (i.e signing Kimbrel but they leave him in AA and not on 40 man......

Not sure.....but I would put him on the 40 man and move him to Mariner mlb club for them....then go back to my team and carry on as normal....I realize this will put 26 on the CPU MLB 25 Man Roster but they will then make the move that is best for their team (assuming you have their profile to auto).....you are basically showing the CPU that they made the Kimbrel acquisition.....I don't know why they don't bring them up but that's how it's.been for years....please let me know if this makes sense...haha...I know what I'm trying to say but it may not be translated well

Thank you. Makes sense. But it sounds like the “safest” thing to do is manually add him to the 25-man roster and send someone down to the minors.

Armor how is the trial with fielder run speed at 3 working so far? Haven’t had a chance to test any of the new tweaks yet but I’ll check them out tonight
