I had been already pitching on HOF
but had been hitting on All Star
Thought after the patch it would be the right time to hit on HOF
    You gentlemen are definitely right
It is a great sublime realism it makes the experience even better

Finished my second game post patch.. after a 6 hit, 9 run first inning, I finished with a 12-3 win over the Marlins. Braves hitters are on fire to start the season. This game alone had a grand slam for Markaikis, 3 run homerun for acuna jr, rbi single for Culbertson, and a 5/5 3 homer game for Ozzie Albies..
Early season Pitching is a different story

I just watched a video about him the other game. He’s missed like 40 games since 1972. Which is insane.

Without a doubt. He is and always will be a part of Indians history. I remember my first game at municipal stadium as a kid back in the day and hearing his drum. He has a chapter in the book 100 things every Indian fan should know and do. He has been doing it since around 1976. Not exact date I don't remember that.

I can safely say that hitting has been improved post patch. I am seeing even more variety and ball trajectories.

It is freaking awesome. More bloopers, and muscled hits, different ball spins off the bat and down the lines, a few different ball trajectories on gappers and balls over OF's heads.

And the game is running far smoother post patch 1.09

            OUTSTANDING update SDS. Great job.

I am sure another patch is coming down the pike to work on the DH bug issue plaguing many folks (I have not had it yet but it is real and out there).

In the meantime....absolutely no changes to the OP set. ENJOY!!!

Ok, well I am super happy to hear this. Last night I played 4 games, didn't score more than 2 runs in any of them and didn't have more than 7 hits in any of them. My wife is at a bachelorette party until Saturday and I have all these free nights to play so was I was so annoyed by this. She asked what I've been doing and I'm just like welllll.....Haha...Anyway, pair that with the patch and I assumed the worse- that I'll be spending these nights adjusting sliders. I guess I just ran into a buzzsaw! I'll get back to it tonight!

Side note (can't figure out how to upload video from phone)- Todd Frazier hit a ball that went clearly over the orange line in Citi Field on the top of the wall but didn't make it to the stands- it hit that upper section of blue wall below the crowd. Is that not a home run because it was ruled just a double?

Sorry if this is a bit off topic but I'm using 'The Nest' as my primary forum for this game.

I'm ready to start playing MLB 19 after completing my 18 franchise season and seeing the recent patch drop. I haven't even installed 19 as yet.

My question is in franchise mode do you still have to play the first inning of the first game on the regular season schedule to avoid the bug where the announcers will call every home run 'his first of the season'?

                Thanks.

You do not have to play the first inning. From what I have seen it has been fixed.

I will say, after 3 games of struggling to get hits and score more than 1-2 runs, I had a game last night where I hit 3 HR’s, and put 8 Runs on the board.

Ive been an all star guy since the start of this cycle. After figuring some things out and practice i made the switch to HoF.

I went into it thinking this is going to be bad and im going to hate it. (All madden logic).

Using op i had a really fun and sim like game.

                        I got plenty of hits 11. 2 hr. I won 3-0.

They had 4 hits. I only struck out 5 to my 13. But i swing a lot at what i shouldnt.

Overall it was a great feel and ill being rolling with this set on hof.

First game post patch using the OP sliders on HOF hitting and pitching. Only hit one 3-run home run with Harper in the 7th. Zack Wheeler was starting and lasted only 4 innings giving up 8 runs.

This game was coming off a 2-1 loss against the same Mets team when I only managed 6 hits and 1 run. I was in a 5 game losing streak where I could only manage up to 6 runs per game at most. Then suddenly the offense caught fire and we are back to a 3 game win streak!

Great game comparison showing that these sliders give the ups and downs and how great these sliders truly are!
