You guys on the PS4....just FYI, if you download a roster from the vault, it probably is still just the SDS live roster, not an edited one. On Next Gen, we're getting an error message so we know we cannot get the vault files.

Yeah I haven’t fooled with DL rosters yet. Just trying to get my feet wet with the game for now. Hoping all the vaults and SoTS gets sorted ASAP...

I can confirm that this is true.

And at this point I don’t see anything that would make me question just putting in last year’s version for sliders. I’m not sure that the control for user or cpu needs to be raised from what I’ve seen. Pitch speed seems to be a little faster this year which might get us closer to a default pitch speed .

I’m really liking the amount of control I have on default all star with my pitchers. I also really like the CPU’s discipline, getting a nice mix of walks as well as chases. I really don’t feel the need to move to AS+ but the CPU offense is just not producing much against me. I’ve been messing around with upping the CPU timing by one click to 6. After looking at post game batter feedback, the CPU seems to be extremely early or late on way more pitches than me. They also almost never get a perfect, perfect. While I get about 1-2 a game. Offense for me on the other hand is perfect. I have some games where I get shut down and others where I put up plenty of runs. Any thoughts on upping timing for the CPU rather than going up to AS+?

For those of you using my set last year, this will look mostly familiar.

As soon as the vault issues get fixed, I will be diving into a franchise (or two).

Naw, seriously, that's not a bad sign when folks independently have gravitated to the same thing.

I just finished an 11-8 game between TB and Mia and am now in a pitcher's duel between the Mets and Nats (Syndergaard vs Strasburg).

The swing and misses were just to glaring of a feature for me to ignore. I know often when people see that their thought process goes to upping timing or contact, however when you do that it’s a whole other aspect and would most likely have to change other aspects of the slider set as a whole. By upping the foul frequently I’m seeing less swings and misses, less strikeouts (especially for the cpu which was just ridiculously high) longer at bats resulting in a better overall offense.

So I wanna preface this by saying that this is my first time playing The Show since the 2016 game.

I've never really played on anything higher than Veteran just because I was mainly a RTTS player just having fun putting up crazy stats [emoji23]

But y'all this is HARD for me and I'm only on normal All-Star not even All-Star+ Now I've only played a total of 8 innings so far over two games. I'm a big baseball fan, love the game but playing the game this way is really a challenge for me. I'm not sure how I feel about not having true input on things like I'm used to and I'm absolutely struggling to hit the ball....and pitch for that matter (to be fair I am using my O's)

I say all this to say that I'm definitely going to continue using this and seeing how I feel about it before I really dive in with a full franchise. But Josh this is good stuff so far for real I'm sure everyone whose used these in the past are really enjoying them.
