We’ve preached sample size forever.
Not even 20 games is enough to determine if a slider set is working or not.


Trust Armor, trust his set and if u must change a specific slider, don’t be too dramatic with it (1 click L or R at most).

Edit them. For every point you raise stamina take away a point from Durability.

The thing I hate most about sports are I juries, so in my MLB show 22 fantasy world I have injuries off. So trading durability for stamina won't work for me. However, for those of you who have injuries on, I think it is a very reasonable trade off.

So here is my dilemma

One prospect is a top 5 guy, but has 63 stamina at age 22 as a starter. He has a 73 overall rating with A potential, but his stamina has not increased at all though 57 triple A games including 12 starts.

If I bumped his stamina to 83, he then was rated 76 overall, but doing that feels like using a cheat code.

Is there any way to increase stamina without editing his stats? If not, maybe I will just add 2 stamina a month or something, but I'm having such a great time with the realistic sliders and all, I do not want to do anything to cheat myself.

Any other suggestions?

Headed into the Braves home opener with a 6-0 start. Swept the Marlins and Mets. Outscored them 38-10. 4 games in a row the cpu scored 2 runs on me and 1 each in the other two games.. I was admittedly worried that maybe the cpu needed a boost because after 6 games my ERA was much much lower than the next closest. Cue the ebbs and flows. I am currently sitting in the top of the 1st, with 1 out, already down 7-0. The Reds just caught absolute fire on Soroka and it is looking ugly for the Braves home opener.

Sounds like a good story line. A potential starter is a LRP. Hes got the goods to spot start when needed but just cant last to be a rotation starter.

OR

Put him in rotation and just know that you may need a extra pitcher that day

I'm two months into the season now, with the Tigers struggling at a 22-35 record. Worst offense in the league and some questionable pitching. Seems about right from what I can tell lol. The game is playing absolutely fantastic for me.

Glad not to be all alone as a die hard tigers fan. Their lineup is brutal this year. I’m also struggling to hit big time and thinking about making a move for some offense. But they have so many holes, I don’t know where to start.

Oh I wouldn't call myself a fan, I'm from Cleveland but hate using my home team/favorite teams for franchise mode. I really liked the looks of the Tigers going into the season and have actually starting following them more in real life...it's a shame because on paper they look like they should be more competitive than this (both in game and real life). But, it's baseball.

I have a house rule when it comes to injuries. I realize that injuries are a big part of baseball, but I didn’t want too many serious injuries to my team or the cpu controlled teams.

I’m a big Yankees fan and A-Rod was my man-crush. Many years ago in my first game of my franchise he tore is ACL and was out for 6 months. So started my franchise over. Then I was to play Texas and they had Pudge, Gonzalez and another starter all out with 6+ month injuries so I couldn’t play against their star players. So I started my franchise over.

So now my house rule is that I put the injury slider at 6 for both my games and simmed games. There are still a fairly decent amount of injuries but mostly the 1-6 day stuff or the 1-2 week injuries. There are still enough 2-3 month injuries for my liking.

Also there are no 6+ month injuries. If any player suffers one (either player on my team or cpu teams), I remove that injury as if it never happened. They catch a break (pun intended)

I got 30 or so games in and thought I just suck at this game, I’ll never be any good, so for fun I started a franchise with the Angels… and would you look at that??? I CAN hit a baseball… it was my Tigers all along [emoji30]
