Thanks Jake...hopefully I can add Howard and the unlikely Blanton to the list.

I just activated Jon Lester and Dice-K from the DL and they're both some funny looking white guy. How do I fix this it's annoying as hell.

          Re: FRANCHISE PROGRESS

Well I went ahead and pulled the trigger on my trade last night.
This is how it went down:

          REDS GET
          OF Jack Cust
          P Micheal Wuerst

          A'S GET
          OF/SS Jerry Hairston
          RP Jeff Burton

I had to throw in Hairston to make this trade work for both teams.
I really needed to add some power to my line up as I really only have 2 power threats. The A's really wanted Burton for some reason, as soon as I put him and his now 9.60 ERA on the block they offered me 3 different trades for him. I was also looking to deal Hairston and needed a reliever to take Burtons spot so the A's threw in Wuerst with Cust.
The first at bat for me Cust hit a RBI double, he ended his first game with me 1-4 with a RBI.

Maybe try moving them to the minors, and then call them back up...I heard that somewhere that it worked for somebody. I also heard that trading the player, and then trading them back made things right again...don't know if you're past the deadline now though. Either way it really sucks, and I've got Utley coming off the DL in late Sept. Hope he doesn't look like Bill Gates.

Cust should rake in GABP. Keep me apprised to his mashings...

I had another crazy game last night!
I beat the Cards 18-2, and I hit 7 HR's, Bruce hit 3 as did Edwin.
3 HR's by two different guys in the same game!
This was the most runs I have scored in along time, I was only averaging alittle over 3 runs per game over my 15 games!
Again Jay Bruce hit 3 HRS and had 7 RBI, he is the man for me on this game.
Edwin also had 3 HRS and 6 RBI's, and Jack Cust was 4-6 with 2 doubles.
I am now 1 game up on the Brewers.

doesn't it feel so good to score 10+ runs after 5-6 games only scoring 2 or 3. I scored 9 runs in 7 game span and then exploded on Washington for 18 the other day. I was like finally I can hit again, the next day I lost 2-1.

Know what you mean. I started July hitting 8 HRs in 2 games w/ Ryan Howard, and then didn't hit another HR until mid-July. I get shutout 4-0 w/ 3 hits vs SF's Matt Cain, and then explode for 4 HRs and 8 runs vs Aaron Cook.

                    The variance is lovely.

                      Re: FRANCHISE PROGRESS

I'm in the middle of a 3 game losing streak at the moment. I lost to the Phillies 10-0..my startes were exhausted so, I played my entire bench that game, agianst Cole Hammels. I got 3 hit.

Santana is injured for 1 day, so I had Brad APrnnel start the next game vs. Pirates. He pitched 5 shut out innings, then Pedro Felicinao came in in the 6th inning and blew up.

Next game, Im actually pitching decent with Ollie Perez. He gets hurt in the 5th inning, Shawn Green pitches a scorless 6th, and then blows up in the 7th..and I drop that game also.

                      Ugh.

Atlanta Braves - trying to bring them back to top.....

I am currently where real life MLB is in early May, so just finished sweeping Marlins in 2 game series: 2-1 and 3-2. 1st game I got a early 2-0 lead and held on with pitching to win. Second game went tied 2-2 in 9th, and Francoeur hit a solo shot. Phillies are next, oh boy!! I made some call ups/call downs to pitching rotation, also got 2 people on DL: Escobar on 60 day, and Kawakami on 15. I am currently 13-15. I have not made any trades yet, so have real roster for Bravos.

                            Rotation:
                            Vazquez 3-2 2.86 era
                            Jurrjens 3-2 2.88 era
Valdez 4-0 2.45 era (in AAA) just brought up
Hanson 2-2 2.75 era (in AAA) just brought up
Reyes 0-2 10.13 era in Lowe trade get his replacement hopefully.

Lowe was horrible, send him to AAA, looking trade him for some young talent. Any suggestions?

                            Starting positions:

                            C- McCANN .236 AVG 2HR
                            1B - KOTCHMAN .247 2HR
                            2B - JOHNSON .182 3HR
SS - HERNANADEZ .197 4 HR (AAA) call up for escobar DL
                            3B - JONES .349 5HR
                            LF - ANDERSON .153 1 HR
                            CF - SCHAFER .230 1 HR
                            RF - FRANCOEUR .291 2HR

As you can see hitting is horrible, not sure what to do, maybe sliders I am using (one of the most downloaded) are to hard?
Games have seem realistic for most part, I dont know. Will keep trying.

                                Atlanta at Phillies:

Went into philly with not much hope, but played them tough first two games. First game, actually got out to a 2-0 lead early, only for them to tie it right back up 2-2. Everytime I scored they answered, I have to grind out runs with my lineup, only a McCann 2 run shot made it 4-2, with Philly answering in bottom of inning with a Werth two run shot, 4-4 through 8. Bottom of 8th, Phil's knock in a run and go up 5-4. Man they hit the ball, had 13 total in this game, 10 singles, 1 double, 2 HR. I had 8 hits total. Top of the ninth, Franceour Baby!!! solo shot, 5-5. Bottom of ninth Soriano strikes out two and gets Howard to hit ground out. Top of the tenth i get nothing. Bottom of tenth, 2 outs, no one on, Werth up to bat, you got it, HR, game over, 6-5 Phillies.
2nd game, a pitching classic, Meyer vs Reyes(injured in 3rd), Hanson, Moylan, Gonzalez. 6 hits each going into 9th inning, 0-0 tie. Top of the ninth, I get bases loaded with two outs, Franceour up to bat, gets to 3-2 pitch, oh I'm swinging!!! he crushes it!!!!!! to the warning track!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!robbed at the wall. still 0-0 going into bottom of ninth. First batter, stike out, second batter ground out.....third batter line drive single(pinch hitter for pitcher). Rollins up to bat, get him to 2-2 count.....next pitch, curve ball, ohhhhhhh noooooo, I leave it high, SMACK!!!! 2 run homer Rollins, Game over. 2-0 Phillies.
                                3rd game: TBD
