First off, I absolutely LOVE this mode. I'm straight-up addicted to it.
I have a power-hitting 2B with no speed and terrible range in the field.
The problem is, while making errors and running with a fridge on my back, I'm not hitting either, haha. Or I should say, I wasn't hitting.
The first 25 games in AA were rough. I started off great hitting over .600 in the first 2 games. Then reality set in.
By the 25-game mark, I was hitting under .250 with 0 bombs and only 6 RBI's.
But then it started to click. Slowly but surely I was able to build up enough points and suddenly I began hitting. A lot.
I'm now hitting .312, have 4 HR's and 32 RBI's - these numbers are all over the past 11 games.
I'm really hitting the ball with authority and even my speed has gotten slightly better.
I have no idea when I'll get called into AAA, but right now I'm having a blast in AA.
I even managed to hit a game-winning grand-slam in the top of the 9th. Too bad it wasn't at home, I would have loved to see the walk-off scene.
I might make a starting pitcher soon too.
The only thing I dislike about My Player is that I don't know if I'll ever get back to my Tigers franchise, LOL.
For 2K13 (if there is one), they really need to add in the interview process ala NBA2K12.
Maybe not have an interview after every game, and especially while in the minor's, but it'd be a nice feature to have once you've made it to the Show.
