Playing in AAA. Man on first. Hit a long drive to left center field and stretched it out to a double. Was just getting to second base when I noticed the runner that was on first was just a couple steps off of second toward third. I continued in to second and the runner in front of me came back to second also!

We were both standing there with both having a foot on the bag! The cutoff man had the ball but just stood there. I tried to move but couldn't. I moved my right stick and the cutoff guy through it to the catcher standing in front of home plate. I couldn't move no matter what button I pushed. The catcher just stood there with the ball.

My player and the other runner just stood there going through their motions of bending over stretching, adjusting gloves, etc, normal base runner movements, waiting for the next pitch.

I sat there for a good five minutes smashing buttons trying to get something to happen, but nothing. Finally just hit the power button and went to bed.

    Anyone else had this?
I had an instance with an at-bat where the game didnt actually freeze, it just wouldnt advance to the actual at bat. I did like you, pushing all the buttons, but nothing would work. Had to dashboard.

Even worst your pitch may be best to throw in some situations, because hitter is not waiting it if you throw it rarely. Then you can improve those pitches you want, but I think all three pitch attributes are important, not only speed. Especially at all-star level, where control attribute is so important because of low default control level. Also you can gain +1 attribute x 5 pitches = more skill points gain from training drills (at gold level). Max slider speed is just for information.
I understand all of that lol I'm just asking for your opinion on a good pitch to get next

As for me, I love 2-seam fastball, much more than straight 4-seamer, because of his movement and still pretty high speed. From what I experienced at this time, 4-fastball is much more hittable than 2-seamer. You already have FB, change-up and curve, so I think you need some another kind of fastball.
I have FB, 2S-FB, slider, power curve & circle change, and its enough for me, dont need any other.

All right thank you, I purchased the eephus pitch, which is horrible, thinking I good pull of a nice 97mph to 55mph shift but I'm not liking it at all. I wish we could delete pitches but i guess I'm stuck with it.

For my Control SP, I have FB, slider, change and the sinker. Sinker works real nice for getting the batter to hit a grounder into a double-play.

I have a few questions: When are the options in career decisions(request trade/suggest free agent) available? Does anyone know if you can delete or replace a pitch? I want to replace my eephus pitch for a slider. Thank you in advance

Trade request will be available after 75 overall and suggest free agent after 85 overall I think.

I love how the game figures a home run isn't an extra base hit, OR driving in a run in the goals..

Glad I took a few days away from this game .. my Nats SS was hitting .146 the first 14 games and the stuff that was hit hard was at people.. now up to .280

So I had a perfect game going thru 6 innings against the pirates and them my team decided they didnt know how to handle the ball. They kept on getting errors, 2 in the 7th inning, and with my low composure I couldn't control any of my pitches and I ended up allowing 3 runs. The horrible fielding is really annoying me, is there a way to fix this?

How do you steal bases on the PC? What buttons are they I can't find anything in the base running section

Hit my first grand slam last night and drove in 5 runs total against Seattle. Got player of the game as well and racked up a ton of My Player skill points.

Finished my rookie season batting .242 with 10 homers and 32 RBI. Currently a 76 overall heading into spring training.

Started as a SS in the cubs AA system. Took me awhile to get the hang of it. Didnt do well in spring training, got sent back to AA. Changed positions to 3B and then started to hit well. Called up to AAA. In one game in AAA went 4-5, 2 HR, 10 RBI (a Grand slam, and 3 run homer helps). After a little over a month in AAA got called up to the majors (right at all start break). Started sluggish. Asked to be traded to the Astros because its easier to hit IMO. Now I'm midway thru September (A bit over 2 months in the majors) batting .359, 36 HR's, 79 RBI, 26 SB. Astros are in last so I'm requesting a FA. I hope to get the minimum number of AB's to qualify for batting title etc. very fun mode
