Everything on page 1 - post 1 is accurate. No adjustments since the latest updates. This is playing near perfectly for me.

The 50 cpu pitch success and 55 user batting power change has been done for a few days now. These are very solid sliders... I appreciate all the input from many people here, including the other slider creators (whose threads I read daily as well).

MK what would you suggest I tweak...Ive been using this slider set with 50 power for 11 games and im avg 2-3 hr's a game and about 12 hits. I dont want to up AI pitch effect. but if i lower power to 45 i have no power. It seems to me 50 power is too much and 45 is too little BIG PROBLEM!!!

leave your user hitting power at 50, but bump up your cpu a.i. pitch success to 55 (up from 50). you've found one of those "no man's land" type of issues that no slider seems to cure. so try that for 3-5 games and see what kind of results you get.

I agree, I have changed from CPU Success at 50 to 60 but left HUM pwr at 55.........had like 1 hr in 8 games then went to ban box philly with my Mets and hit like 12 hr's in 3 games lol

Loving these sliders. Pitching is a challenge, hitting is a challenge, I'm getting dingers from lower power guys like Marson and Brantley in my CLE franchise. Well done!

Hi all, I was just wondering, are these sliders suitable for complete beginners to this series?

                Cheers

I would suggest comparing mine with that of Bulls23. He and I have some differences on a few things, so you might try mine for a few games and then give his the same amount. See where you are...

One small adjustment I've made (which has nothing to do with the slider values): I bumped my user batting camera in 1 zooom (which I believe makes that number value 6). It's a small thing, but it's helping see breaking balls a little more quickly, and I'm striking out less. Noticed a few more user ground balls, so it's a good thing. I use default batting camera, so just adjust that one zoom number if you are using the same camera.

I think so, you'll take some lumps early on, but these are a very good set that play good baseball.....they're worth the learning curve.

From my view the only thing you may wanna change at the outset as you get used to the game would be USER CONTACT. I don't think I'm anywhere near as good at batting as MK, so I've had this as high as 40 and worked down to 35.

mk these sliders are simply amazing. I've been playing baseball games for many years, ever since MLB feat. Ken Griffy Jr. on the N64, and had a game today that I don't remember ever having before in my life.

                      Cubs(me)- 1R, 7H, 0E
                      Dodgers- 0R, 5H, 0E

                      W- Garza- 8.0IP, 5H, 6k, 0BB
                      L- Billingsley- 8.0IP, 7H, 4k, 1BB, 2HBP
                      S- Marmol- 1.0 IP, 0H, 0K, 0BB

Both teams were hitless into the third. Garza held them to one hit through five, scattering five singles. Solo shot by Tyler Colvin in the top of the sixth was the difference. Billingsley scattered five singles and a double along with the HR. It absolutely felt like a REAL game.

Your rosters are spot-on, your sliders are amazing, thanks for all of your hard work.

Just played two interesting games against the Reds right after the one I mentioned in the last post..

First one I lost 5-4 against Bronson Arroyo with 11 hits but 4 solo HRs accounting for all of my runs. Probably could have come back late if the shadows at Wrigely weren't terrible and I could have seen the ball.

Second one I won 12-0 against Johnny Cueto with 15 hits including 5 HR's.

Seems as though all of the sudden I'm blasting a lot of HR's. I'm six games into May, at 5-1, and I've hit 13 so far in the six games. Two of those six I didn't hit any. Hit three in a 9-5 win, hit the one in the game in my last post, and then those last two games.

MK i tried your theory of uppin AI effect to 55 and its pretty solid i get the occasional HR and about 5-7 hits a game....BUT are you able to hit with lower power guys? for example in 25 games in my franchise starlin castro, darwin barney, and marlon byrd are all struggling to stay above the mendoza line...it seems no matter how well i time something i ground out, pop out, at best line out to an IF....THE WORST part about it is castro and byrd r .300 hitters
