Chris Perez must have bet the 'under' on the Tribe's season won/loss record, he's trying his damnedest to blow things for them.

I begrudgingly accepted his antics while he was productive, but after that... BYE!

Sums up my feeling for Joba Chamberlain. I think every team has one guy in their bullpen that just makes you want to scream.

What are you talking about, you can't blame Mo for that. What, a weakass blooper that fell in, and the Yankees (as a team) blowing a 3-0 series lead to the Red Sox. That's Mariano's fault?

I'm not a Yankees fan, but seeing Jeter and Pettitte pull Rivera out of the game was awesome.

You were just starting school when the 2004 WS happened so remembering would be pretty hard. He was in the league before you were born.

I started to post last night that while I have a great deal of respect for Mo and all he's accomplished, I'm kind of tired of all the coverage he's getting.

But then I saw the highlight of Pettitte and Jeter going to get him and I was like "OK, that's pretty awesome. Well done, Yankees."

That Pettitte\Jeter moment really was well done. It was like the end of great story, a season finale before the closing credits one last time.. You could see all the championships, the defeats, and all the memories cherished in that moment.

I'm not a Yankee fan, and I have seen my team go down at the hands of Mo Rivera and the other core four players, but as a fan of baseball, that was a good moment. It was sad to think that the generation of mid 90s baseball I grew up with is quickly coming to a close.

What a game in Atlanta tonight. Braves won 1-0. Cliff Lee and Kris Medlen were unbelievable. Game only lasted 2 hours and 7 minutes. Chris Johnson hit the go-ahead run in the bottom of the 8th.

Cliff Lee's K/BB ratio in September? 54 to ONE.

And Medlen has been incredible lately. Has to be the playoff ace.

King Felix and Bartolo Colon is a nice pitching matchup.
