Bush hit Bautista intentionally.
Bautista slid hard into second intentionally.
Odor punched Bautista intentionally.

Bautista: "I slid hard into 2B. I could have injured him, I chose not to..didn't appreciate being hit." #Bluejays #Jays
Kudos on making that tough choice to not injure the guy.
I will give the Blue Jays credit; they know how to game the system. They push the envelope just far enough not to get in trouble and then complain about it or smart off about it after a play or game. I have never seen a team lose their first base coach to an ejection... ever. I rarely see players like Bautista toss their helmets or bats as often as he does after he strikes out or is out at first. People can complain about the Rangers all they want, but Toronto has their own problems and I doubt that the Rangers are going to be the only ones they have.
I say that with this caveat: Roughned Odor was in the wrong on this one. Yeah, Bautista went dirty trying to take out his legs but he should have had his head in the game and kept it cool for another inning. That being said, out of all players to get cold cocked, Bautista is the most satisfying. He is the biggest baby in Baseball, and that's saying something.
I'd tell him to eat ****, but I don't think he's going to do much eating for a while without a straw.Rangers - Cowboys - Aggies - Stars - Mavericks

Late in a one run game? Bush might have just been in prison but this isn't the California Penal League.Rangers - Cowboys - Aggies - Stars - Mavericks

What the hell was Bautista trying to do though? I know he wasn't winding up to give Odor a handshake or a pat on the back

That's pretty much exactly how I see it. I just took it to the extreme with my explanation. My bad.Comment

Look I know you're a Rangers fan and bias is not going to allow you to look at this objectively. I don't have a dog in the fight. I don't like Bautista and I don't like Bush. Bush hit him intentionally. Plain and simple.Last edited by countryboy; 05-15-2016, 07:53 PM.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Re: 5/2 - 5/15 Game Discussion Thread
I'm tired of this "eye for an eye" mindset in baseball.
I get that you're mad a pitcher hit you; I get you're mad the hitter showed you up on that HR. Learn how to channel the anger and beat them in the game.
I wish a player would step and say that. Say they're mad...but they'll ensure the other guy doesn't beat them again. That's a much better version of revenge.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment
