When his breaking ball is on like it was yesterday, very hard to hit him.

But, I found it no surprise that the 7th was the inning he "collapsed." He was basically throwing fastball, slider to every hitter. Heart of the lineup facing him for the third time, not much left to surprise them with. They know what's coming and there it happened.

Sounds like Nady might be out for the year. The MRI on his elbow showed a tear and he needs surgery.

So much for depth in the outfield now. Also this will pretty much kill Nady's chances at Type A free agent status after the season.

Also Austin Jackson was pulled from his AAA game today. Possibility he could be coming up? If he does, he better be playing everyday, because it would be a waste to stick him on the bench.

Kay and Fatso were both saying on their radio shows that there is no chance Austin Jackson gets called up, I guess we'll see though. The roster move will be made tomorrow.

I don't expect him to be called up either. If I had to guess it would be John Rodriguez or Juan Miranda.

              Cano crushed that one.

I think Lee and Sabathia will have a pitchers duel tomorrow to open up the new stadium.

Lee is on pace to give up another 9+ runs, so I'll be ready to watch that.

Chad Jennings pretty much confirmed that he's not getting called up, left because he was HBP in his first at-bat and wanted to be cautious. I expect Juan Miranda to be up soon as well since he's mashing in AAA. He can take some of the backup 1B at-bats against righties since he's got platoon splits. Just means more time for Melky to fill in around the outfield so hopefully he can contribute better than he did last year.

I'm prouder of Cano this year than anyone else. This young kid who's struggled to start hot in every season has shown improved batting eye and he's just stroking the ball. Awesome to see and we have a lot to look forward to with him. (Too bad he's 0 for 29 to start the season in my MLB 09 franchise. Lol, hope he turns it around in there).
