            This field is insane. It'll break the record for HR's without a doubt.

                Ponson = Wang

                Unless he can start pitching like the old Wang again, I'll continue calling him Sidney Ponson.

                        Re: The 2009 New York Yankees

                        I went to the game yesterday too but stayed til the end. Me and my boys were just walking around looking at parts of the stadium from the 6-9th inning.

                        So what the hell is up with the insane amount of empty seats behind and around home plate. Those are all season ticket holders, correct? Those seats were probably 30% full yesterday and it's been about that for each home game, same story today. And out in the RF seats that wrap in front of the bleachers, how the hell are those half empty today? I figured NY would be excited for the new stadium so I'm kinda puzzled as to why there are 5-6,000 prime empty seats in each game so far.

                          Are those the seats that cost $1000-$2500?

                            Yeah, those tickets haven't sold and they can't just lower the ticket prices at this point because there are people who paid full price for the same level tickets. Yanks would have to offer them a refund as well on the difference and Steinbrenners have admitted that they overpriced the tickets.

                              So the best seats in the house are going to be empty the entire season? Wonderful.

                                I was gonna wait til the Jays visit NYS to ask about those seats but nice to see the answer here. Pretty interesting that the best seats in the house are gonna be empty most/all year long.

                                They look damn cozy tho!
