Sure feels like the days of Mike Jorgensen, Steve Henderson, and Joel Youngblood era.

- I like to see more of Evans and less of Tatis.

- With Ollie coming back soon, move Redding out to spot Ollie.

- There's got to be a better option for a middle infielder than Reyes.

- If Parnell was the missing piece to a possible DeRosa deal, I think I would have done it.

I am really starting to like this team. I just do not buy the comments from Franco. In past seasons if the Mets lost a lead like today they would have folded and gone home with a loss. This years team diggs in and pulls out wins. They need to get an real idea on who is coming back and when and decide to make a move or two. I think the starting pitching is ok and the bullpen is alright. They need some kind of bats to help out the lineup.

I really wish we had just ate the money owed to Castilla and paid the money to get Hudson.

This is tough... I postponed going to the gym because I thought we had a rally in us, especially with Blanton pitching. David Wright's grounding into the double play with the bases loaded put an end to that. I turned off the laptop and went and took out my frustration at the gym. LOL We're just up against it now, with all the injuries. We can't seem to put anything together.

The entire division is mediocre right now... and that's a good thing for us. We get the big 3 back this month. Just have to keep it within a few games....

Injuries are one thing, but the Mets fielding is horrible. If you have guys out the one thing you have to do is make the basic plays of baseball. This years team, even when all the guys were healthy, is booting the ball around the field and it is costing them games.
