NO!! Like some guys already said that would be a decent trade just for Castro. Just flat out giving up WAY too much.

There is no need to trade anyone at this moment

A suggestion for all cubs fans, stop listening to the meathead talking heads, especially Kaplan.

That last sentence described Arrieta a few years ago. Just sayin'.

Goodbye, Barney. If only you could hit....I like Lake, still so very raw.

If only Barney could hit over .230 then he may still have a job. Great defender, but might not be able to hit .300 in tee ball.

Lakes a little young and raw too give up on. I think I've seen a few trade rumors about him. Wouldn't want to give him up for nothing unless you literally couldn't get anything in return

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Lake should have at least one or more minor league options left.

I think it would be a little extreme to DFA him, honestly. Don't love Lake as much as some, but I don't see the problem letting him strike out a ton on a team that's realistically not going to/looking to win. His potential at least earns him that, even if he doesn't reach it. If this were a competitive team, I'd agree.

You're right, he does have options.

And I dont see the potential in Lake. He had one good week where every team made the mistake of throwing him fastballs.

                    I dont see it.

Man, the I-Cubs must be raking in the ticket sales. That's quite a roster over there.

Soler is a beast when healthy. Assuming Baez will be up in September, any chance they call Bryant up too?

Zero Chance for Bryant. Decent chance for Baez. Bryant's service time is the issue there.
