Re: **The Official New York Yankees Thread**
I doubt he actually makes it to the MLB roster. If he does he probably won’t get a very warm welcome from the crowd after he called the fan base stupid. The HR Derby thing wasn’t very classy of him but but did he not have a point? I mean the guy did have 11 more HR’s then Sanchez at the time. Can understand his frustration.Comment

Re: **The Official New York Yankees Thread**
I get his point of view, but his beef was with the league, he shouldn't have said Gary's name at all. Not a huge deal, but Clementine will remember this. Keep him in Scranton.
Really glad to see Clint Frazier finally getting his shot and making the most of it. Hopefully he can keep it up while Hicks is out, wonder how they'll handle it when he comes back.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

Re: **The Official New York Yankees Thread**
Frazier is really going to make it tough on the Yankees. But I think injuries will keep things in order.
I can't see a real justification to demote Frazier when Stanton and Hicks come back. The Yankees will need to figure something else out.
If the outfield is Stanton, Hicks, Judge, Gardner and Frazier then you just gotta rotate them and keep everyone happy. Hicks clearly can't play more than 110 games in a season anyway. Gardner might be leading the team in home runs (I believe this is true right now) but he's still **** with the bat. He's not very good. Can't justify having him play everyday.
So even if you start Stanton and Judge every game, they can rotate them with DH and let Frazier play the corners at times. I think it can work.
It also likely means that Bird needs to be out already. Just demote him to AAA and pretend he doesn't exist."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. I also think injuries will sort this situation out itself.
As for Bird, I think he keeps his roster spot solely based on the fact his bat is left handed.

Right on cue. We needed that 26 man roster this season instead of next.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it
