Just waiting for October...

I believe this team has all the necessary ingredients. There is a will about this team. They could have collapsed without Judge. But there is a veteran leadership to this team. It's not just Judge they look to anymore.

The team puts the ball in play. They aren't young and inexperienced anymore. They are hungry. And ready to put this team on their back even with so many key guys hurt.

Hope I'm right. This team feels special. And once everyone starts trickling back they might reel off 15 in a row.

Barry with the short porch is a dream I won't even allow myself to have. I wonder what the hold up was, I know Stick didn't want to give him a guaranteed 6th year when he became a free agent, insane.

Still I'd say the Yankees did pretty well in the nineties with that core. Hard to imagine them doing much better.

I highly doubt it before June. I think they’ve stated that it isn’t worth the lost draft pick, plus you have to assume that he’s going to be weeks away from ready once you sign him.

Yea that is correct. It is widely believed nobody will sign him till after the draft.

Unfortunate but hopefully he comes back strong next year.



Seems like the Yankees can't get anyone healthy to play 3B the past several years. Every expected starter goes down for a significant amount of time early in the year.

I'm intrigued with Urshela. Obviously a much better defender. Will never have the power of Andujar. But man he's filled the void
