Other than their tourney run and me then, consequently, falling in love with their team? Nothing. I guess I would be a defacto Akron fan since that's my school, but URI is my team.

Either way, HUGE game tonight. If URI loses tonight, it's going to be very hard to make the tourney.

Onions! Jones hits a big shot. I'm glad I got to see the end of that. The Flyers winning streak at home, which was one of the longest in the country, is over. I was hoping that X would get the chance to end that streak in a couple of weeks but oh well.

Huge, huge win by URI last night, that will go a long way towards an NCAA bid if they keep playing well, they have 3 in a row they should win. Dayton is hurting, they have a tough stretch coming up, X and Charlotte(both home games, at least) followed by St. Louis. They can't lose more than one of those three.

Temple @ Charlotte tonight, a win for Charlotte makes them a legit bubble team, they need the marquee win to get NCAA consideration. Another good road test for Temple, they got out of Rhody with a close win a couple of weeks ago.

Looking like the Flyers are headed for the NIT unless they turn things around quickly. If Brian Gregory is going to play 10 or 11 guys every game, they should be pressing all game to take advantage of their depth. Otherwise, you're just rotating guys in without letting them get any rhythm.

That's one thing that has really puzzled me this season with the Flyers. BG is using a 10-man rotation, or whatever, but they don't seem to take full advantage of it like they could. Just based on what I've seen, UD is not showing like they can win the A-10. I think they are still an NCAA tournament team but they can't afford any additional losses like the one to St. Joe's. They have some tough conference games still left on their schedule.

And we have a new leader in the A-10 along with X and Temple. Charlotte knocks off the owls 74-64

Huge win for Charlotte, they are in the NCAA bubble discussion now, they have to avoid a letdown and take care of business this weekend @ UMass.

No great matchups this weekend, Charlotte and Dayton are on the road while the rest of the top of the league get home games they should win. St. Louis @ Richmond looks like the best game, they might not combine for 80 points...

Nice win by Charlotte. Definitely helps the resume. Somebody was bound to beat the Owls at some point.

I'm going to the X-Duquesne game tonight at Cintas. The Muskies haven't lost to them at home since 2004. I expect a 15-20 point victory. Fordham rolls into town on Sunday. That might be ugly.
