No not restless, just frustrated. 2 of the 4 losses were a direct result from missed FT's down the stretch. The ODU game @ ODU was expected to be a loss. Don't know what happened down in the Bahama's vs GA Tech.

Against Purdue you could tell they were pumped for that game. Against Seton Hall, they basically did the same thing Dayton did. Sleep walk through the first half and then turn it on. They have a problem of not getting up for every game. Mooney does not appear to have that real fiery personality but is good at teaching his offense and defense. One of the seniors needs to become a vocal and fiery leader.

The other thing IMO is Anderson is only playing avg right now. Some of that has to do with Gonzalvez graduating and KA getting the opposing teams top defender but other times he just looks to be going through the motions.

Mooney is in no jeopardy since he did a good job turning around a program that was left in bad shape after Wainwright moved to DePaul. Unlike Xavier, Dayton, and Temple, Richmond is not a team that can reload every year and the alumni know that.

We'll see what happens in A-10 play but the schedule, while easier than some could also be detrimental. Only play X, Dayton, and Temple once. I think they need to win the reg season title if they want to go dancing without winning the tourney.

The ooc schedule was not as strong this year since WF, GT, AZ ST, and Seton Hall are just bad to avg, and of course they lost to ODU, who is the 2nd best team they played. There were no Mizzou, Miss St, Florida this year, all of whom they beat last year. Plus the conf did not collect many marquee wins so getting as many bids this year as last, will be tough.

I know I was excited for UR(father's an alum) and FSU(alum) going into the season. Now it's going to take some work.

Mitchell and Reed are enrolled at SLU but decisions on either playing this seasons haven't been finalized. Apparently Mitchell might redshirt and Reed is suspended indefinitely.

Rhode Island @ Richmond is on CBS College Sports @ 7PM EST. Richmond should win but the drubbing Rhode Island got from Xavier has me a little nervous. Never like facing a team coming off a blowout loss

I think Richmond will be fine. I was unimpressed with Rhody despite their decent record, and a few decent wins this season (Charleston, Drexel, BC). They lost their last two games against Florida and XU by a combined 52 points. All the Rams have is Delroy James. They did just get Outerbridge back though. Maybe he'll help them some down low.

Effing knew I was nervous for a reason. Would have been even more nervous had I known they were only 7-50 from 3 the last 2 games. So what do they do? Hit 12(45%) of them tonight against a Richmond team holding teams to under 30% from 3. Richmond has no one that can score outside of KA and Harper. And they get outrebounded once again. Pathetic

I know I am late but **** those refs from the Charlotte/St. Bonnie game last Saturday, the worse I have ever seen out of the A-10.

Wow...You were right. I didn't expect that out of Rhody the way they looked the last couple of games. Looks like they shot lights-out. Who the hell is Nikola Malesevic?

I saw they lost but never saw the box score until just now. 42 FTA's for the Bonnies and 9 for the Niners? A foul discrepancy of 28 to 12? I don't recognize the names of those refs, to be honest. I'll be on the lookout for those three and hope they are favorable to X if they do one of their games!

Malesevic is from Serbia and had been buried on the depth chart before this year according to the announcers. Kid was on fire. At 1 pt the whole team was perfect from 3 land in the 2nd half.

This loss falls on the players. KA had back to back turnovers when it was a 2-3pt game with like 8 to go. And Mooney told the team at halftime to defend the 3 and which players to guard tighter behind the 3. It was cool that CBSCS showed the halftime meeting but also shows what can happen when dealing with kids. Oh well, I can officially put any at-large hopes to rest now. Never been so frustrated at a team like I was tonight, except when FSU lost to Auburn last week

I thought this was UD's chance to get Xavier at home finally, but not after the way they played against UMass.

I was worried about X's chance to extend the streak to 30 but then conference play started. UD has typically not played well on the road in conference play. Losing to UMass was further proof of that. And, they played rather uninspired against St. Joe's at home. The Hawks aren't that good. I would have expected the Flyers to win rather easily. Xavier has stepped up their game in conference play so far. If they can keep playing similar to their games @ Rhody and vs UMass, they'll have a lot of success in conference play this year with the league being down overall, IMO. I think X will win tomorrow but it will be by less than 10 points. More like 6 or 7. UD will get up for the game but X plays well at home, especially in conference play.

Charlotte is struggling from a lack of depth and all of the players being of the Lutz gotta shoot 40 3's in a game players. I think UNCC will be a force to reckon with though by 2013.

Duquesne might be for real. They do still have to play Dayton twice and have a couple of other tough road games. Lots of season left but I'm impressed with their start. Xavier has been playing excellent basketball since conference play started. I was worried after that loss to Cincy but they have responded well and put OOC play behind them. Still lots of hoops to be played but I think 5 schools (Xavier, Temple, Dayton, Duquesne, and Richmond) will be competing for the title when it's all said-and-done. They have the strongest teams compared to the other teams in the league.

Other than the outcome of the game not being in your favor, I hope you had a good experience otherwise (i.e. none of my fellow XU fans acted like jerks towards you since you're a Temple fan).
