Yeah I see no way that perfect should always be automatic especially with how easy some of the releases are

I cannot shoot on this game whatsoever online. I have no problems getting to the cup but shooting (3 pts, ft, and midrange). is another story. I give up.

the shot meter is fine, lets just upgrade the shooting animations that don't resemble the life-like shot forms and base of players, have people learn the players shots and have players with quick releases have quick releases.

If a scrub like Jeremy Lamb is going off on you that's your fault not the game.

Adjust your defense. I've had superstars go off on me never scrubs.

Ironically I've seen more instances of "scrubs" going off on me in 2K15 than in 2K14.

Once you master someone's shot release you're unstoppable since perfect releases always go in.

Had someone go off on me with Andre Roberson. A guy with a 60 something 3pt rating went 6/10 from 3 on me lol.

I voted for 'show shot timing' but I meant to vote for 'remove it altogether'. Apex of the player's jump should be the release point and the success/failure of the shot should be based on intangibles/ratings from the area.

Make guys get back in the gym and learn their players/teams instead of someone just grabbing GSW and bombing away with Steph Curry because they looked at a release meter to master it.

Some people (like myself) don't have time to learn lots of players shots. I'm way to busy with work and family to do that, but I like to play 2k15 (and other games when I have time) So how about just making it optional.

Again, I think we should never fear using a player because his "shot is hard to master"....just seems counter productive to me...

The shot meter is a great idea, but the online delay and inconsistent latency makes it poorly executed.

It won't be optional in online modes of its an option. It will be on to help those who don't practice the game keep up with those that attempt to learn the game.

Please take out the shot meter online. It has single handedly ruined online for me. The timing is completely different online/offline and it's almost laughable if the connection is poor. Not to mention the hand full of situations where your view of the meter is obstructed. It's way more frustrating than realistic online.
