Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
My post scoring shot creator is hitting 62% from three in Pro Am with a 74 rating and no shooting badges except bronze corner specialist.
Shooting is still way too easy in Pro Am, despite what 2K was claiming before the game came out.
Anyone on the floor is a threat to hit at least 50% from three, even people whose builds consist of nothing but rebounding/athletic/slashing/post scoring/defending. If the shooting in Pro Am was properly tuned, then we shouldn't have to guard any of those builds from three.Last edited by jyoung; 11-07-2017, 06:08 PM.Comment

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
I'm a big Kevin Love fan and I feel like I want to build something like him. While in Cleveland he is definitely a Sharpshooting Rebounder, during his time with the Wolves he scored inside a lot and wasn't mainly a spot-up shooter, but he still was a great rebounder. So I'm very unsure which route to go...Comment

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
Unless you made him as pure point forward (but he would have some limitations on offense in that case), I would not make him taller than 6'8". Otherwise you will be pretty slow (with and without the ball).
I have a 6'8" 240 lb slashing (secondary) point forward (primary) and I can defend the 4s if needed.
Actually in a couple of pro am games I asked to be switched on the opposite 4 that was killing our PF (sometimes we run with a 6'9" pure sharpshooter at the 4) and I basically shut him down.
Forget about the 5.
You need to be a lockdown D or a rebounder to defend them if you are undersized.Comment

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
We already have a PF defender primary / sharpshooter secondary on the squad who shoots well with a 75 three. PG has gold dimer and floor general . I also have a shot creator with a 74 three and only corner specialist bronze shooting 50% from three in pro am. Not worried about shooting at all .
Sharpshooting primary is a great build too but i prefer the badges of reb primary .
Do you know the effect floor general has on other players

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
someone please recommend a jumper for pure sharp 6'8.
I got all gold badges and hof catch and shoot and still only hit about 50%.
I see dudes going 9 for 11 and stuff like that but im missing wide open shots constantly lol. It always tells me good release and bricks it.Comment

Getting hot already gets us plus 9 in a lot of attributes . I’m not sure what else it affects though . But for sure we get hot faster.#1 Laker fan

I have different jumper for different players based on size and speed. FOR My 6’8 sf shot creatoer defender I like Paul George base or john Stockton base mixed with different releases. Best thing you can do is experiment til you find one that is comfy for youComment

I'm not sure what makes it work for him and I'm aware it's possible it won't be favorable for you but there it is.
