Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
Damn it. I never Really was down with hot zones in online play. Hot zones are realistic but everyone's will be red (or reset!)
Speed is the new king of the league. I messed around with my max weight and height post scorer yesterday and decided I don't feel like a lumbering fatass this year, as much as I loved using that player.
Also, if the OP could add this to the original post I think it'd help everybody so that we don't have to hunt the spread sheet down if we don't have it bookmarked.

Yikes...a pure ldd looks so bad on offense lol. I think someone mentioned mid-range was nerfed and it seems that wayLast edited by thedream2k16; 09-07-2017, 02:53 PM.Comment

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
Lock down is supposed to be all about defense like a tony allen. Not worried about who can hit a corner 3 but when you guys complain because you get broken down off the dribble to much by some spammer with HOF badges then you wish there was a defensive specialist on the floor.
Also best athletic ratings off all playersComment

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
It doesn't cancel all offensive badges . You will get broken by HOF spammers as well. But you will be able to stick with them much better . LDD are great to have on the floor. Also your offensive stats are lower than Tony Allen.Last edited by Rockie_Fresh88; 09-07-2017, 03:04 PM.#1 Laker fan

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
Lockdowns used to give my playmaker problems early in the cycle until I figured them out. I won't say how. But 75% of using LDD correctly is stick skills. I've seen LDDs who are revolving doors.⛹🏽💀

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
I can also relate to the people who say that their teammates are going to make more bigs because usually I start off with a C (I used to with a PG but the team needs the C more) but I've been hearing for a while teammates say that they wanna be bigs next year. Given that getting to a high overall will probably be tough to have too many careers going on early on, part of me wants to just make the PG but who knows if people who say they're going to do that are going to do it and if they'll stick with it. I also hate playing PG anywhere but Park unless it's with at least 4 people I know because you get so many complaints and messages from people feeling they need the ball.Comment

Anyone know if Shot Creators standing shooting ratings are gonna be 15-20 points lower than their ff-drible shot ratings?Comment

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
I am mostly an offline player and went with a 6'7 playmaker pg for a few years.
After a while i find myself just overusing the pick and roll and get bored so i might go a different route this year. Dont get me wrong my game was quite allround and i enjoyed setting up teammates and attacking the rim (mostly layups) but i need a new challenge.
Might run with a 6"6 slashing shot creator this year as that was my 2k13 build but what i really like is some sort of charles barkley build. Not sure if its possible though as putting on weight/strength usually means giving up athleticism.
Any ideas? 6'6 slashing post scorer? Or rebounding slasher maybe ? Would need one man fast break, thats a must have.

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
I was reviewing Shaq 01 Lakers build today . I think post scoring / athletic is the best build for him. The finishing ability is what makes him Shaq. Of course you'll miss some defense and rebounding but I'm sure you can hold your own. The finishing needs to be damn near automatic to truly be Shaq.#1 Laker fan

Definitely post scorer/playmaker. Walton is is one of the best passing big men ever. So that to me seems like the best build
