Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
I don't care about the prelude but they better give use those info before the game Comes out.
How am I supposed to choose the archetype without knowing that?Comment

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
Shotcreator/Defender is...
Bruh.
It's the best all around build in the game by far.
I had at least 4-5 contact dunks throughout the prelude. The midrange was money. The 3 ball was nonexistent, but because of my speed and midrange game, if I got the ball in the high post, then faced up and worked my triple threat game I was able to get into the lane with a step or two on my defender and it was an easy bucket if the floor was spread.
I did struggle to finish against the really athletic bigs in the playground, but of course that's going to happen when no fouls are going to be called.
When I had my tryout and was beating my man off the dribble and I did an aggressive layup I was getting foul calls left and right. Then I saw my atrocious freethrow rating (63. YIKES) and was like, welp, I'm a leave a few on the line.
As a general tip, use the aggressive layup (up on right stick) with guys who have high draw foul ratings and watch the free points pile up.
Side note, it's not going to be as effective if you don't know how to take good driving angles, but that also goes for layups and dunks in general as well.Comment

Made a 7'3 defending/rebounding player due to that being my overall preferred playste and still having HOF rim protector and bruiser (bruiser is much all time favorite badge).Comment

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
Right I have both prelude on xbox one and ps4. I created 7'3 centers for both.
PS4 7'3 maxed weight length Defender/Rebound
Ps4 has the behemoth of a man going full 300+ weight. He's slow but his strength and power us unmatched as I can back down with ease.
Xbone 7'3 lowest weight maxed length Rim protector/Rim protector
He's fast and agile and able to score inside. Had 4 blocks with this guy compared to the behemoth.
This is the first year for me that weight actually matters. Now I'm not sure what to go with.....

I had the same build at 6'7. I was just getting pushed back and getting those backward stall animations constantly.Comment
