As my 2nd season continues, my Magic improve to 5-0 as we comeback to beat the Nuggets at Amway Center in Orlando, I didn't shoot well to start, 1-5, but finish with 31 points, 10 Assists, 5 Rebounds and 2 Steals.. The final was 100-92, after beating the Heat, Wiz and Sixers each by around 35-40, held each opponent to 75 points while we scored 105-115... I'm Avg 35.6 PPG, 11.4 APG, 4.5 RPG, 6.8 SPG Shooting 52%, 45% from 3 and 96% from the Line...

Is there anything that your my player does in the off-season that helps his attributes or something? I'm almost done with my 1st season and I am getting curious if your player does something in the off-season or if it's just simmed through.

if you go to "my purchases" you can see there are different training camps you can buy. which camp you purchase will affect what attributes get better. but they are expensive though

As All-Star approaches, Carmelo and Stoudemire are leaving LeBron in the dust in voting, and seem to have locked up All-Star Starting Status. I'm having another All-Star season, as a second year player, averaging 22.1/6.4/13.0. I've let Melo and Aar'e really take over the offense, and I'm just trying to score with less shots. Currently Top 10 in FG% at .532.

My PG is now sort of a 'Rondo with a jump-shot'. Getting near triple-doubles every few games, and currently leading the league in triple-doubles with 3 in the first 20 games of the season.

I know you can do that during the season but I was wondering if you get to do anything during the off-season.

As I alluded to, I am a fan of trades. I was drafted by the Timberwolves, which was a decent situation but I got tired of losing every rebound to Kevin Love. (I did not yet know that I would lose rebounds to 6-foot guards just as easily.) From there I went to the Heat, but then wanted to play with a real PG, so I requested and got a trade to the Clippers. Lob City! (But always to Blake, never Nate...) We reached the Western semifinals, which I felt was a good run for my rookie season.

I would have stayed there, but Chris Paul exercised his option and signed with Cleveland in free agency. So I requested a trade to my hometown Bulls, getting swapped for Korver and the #4 draft pick SG/SF. I enjoyed playing with them as they have a very balanced lineup and a great PG, but I didn't feel that I fully benefited the team by pushing Noah to the bench. So I looked for another team with a good PG and swingmen but a gap in the frontcourt. My search led me to the... 76ers (who had traded Elton Brand for Joe Johnson). Having read about the draft order bug, it was with a bit of shame that I requested and received a trade to Philly (swapped for the #1 draft pick, an 82-rated SG). But my justification was that even though their team rating was great, the on-court product wasn't, and they were sitting at 16-24. Ten games later, we had closed the gap and were in a tie for the 8th playoff seed, just below .500.

But I still feel guilt about abandoning my hometown Bulls and joining the team benefiting the most from the draft pick bug. I thought, how nice it would be to go back to the Bulls in exchange for another big man to clear out the logjam at Center. So I explored trade options back to Chicago, and sure enough, got swapped for Noah straight-up!

So what should I do? Make the switch back to the Bulls (in a poor man's version of the Dwight Howard trade that everyone knows would be the best outcome in that real-life situation)? Or stay where I'm really needed in Philadelphia, and suppress the feelings of guilt about the draft order bug (or hope for another patch)?
Well I decided to go for sweet home Chicago, and it appears to have been a good decision. The Bulls are now a very well-rounded team, moved up to #2 in the East, and have won all three matchups against #1 Miami since the trade. So we have a lot of confidence going to the playoffs, anticipating a matchup in the Eastern Conference Finals.

I do worry that adding Noah to the 76ers addressed their biggest weakness and turned them into an even stronger contender. Since the trade, Noah and the 76ers lead the league in individual and team rebounding. We have not faced them since the trade, but since they're sitting comfortably in the #4 seed, we will probably not have to face them in the playoffs unless they upset the Heat.

OK. I've got boos now. I'm rated 89 and have the star status. I first noticed it early in the game going to the free throw line. Now every time I have the ball, my home fans are booing. It gets pretty annoying pretty quick. Especially since after I score, they immediately cheer. I wonder if 2K will fix any more bugs, or just right it all off 'til 2k13 (if they even fix it then)?

On the brighter side, my second season is going great (with the exception of the boos). Phoenix is top in the West (9-3). Jones is currently averaging 40.1ppg (crazy, I know), 5.8 rebounds, 6.3 ***, 4.3 steals & 2.8 blocks. I've played every game thus far, but I'm not loving the fact that the ball HAS to go through me for 95% of the game in order to stand a chance. I'm a SF not a PG. Nash has become turnover prone and most of the time, my teammates like passing the ball around until they're able to find the worst possible shot. I'm thinking of just playing Key games and Western division games to help speed the process (I really want to test FA).

So..since I'm with Celtics and we are 4-10 I requested a trade and listed Lakers, Heat and Hornets(as they were the only one interested) and I got there and my first game was against OKC and I had 9 points, 9 assists and 4 steals with only 1 TO(ball security is awful, 67) in 24 minutes. Finally had two dunks with my new Jordan 2012 kicks that were added to the game today I think. Pretty happy with this team. We lost 93-89 with me shooting 2-9 and Gordon 6-20. If I made that two missed dunks. Damn.
