Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
I had my first game as a member of the Thunder they were only 6-6 when I got there. started the season 1-5 if im not mistaken. We beat the Lakers forgot the score but I remember I had 12pts 8rbs 1ast 1stl 1blk My plan is to play out my entire rookie season then starting season 2 just play key games. I wanna sign with my hometown Knicks when ever Amare retires or just loses it and cant produce at a high level anymore. Thats alot of games to play though even with just key games. It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
Apologies if this has been mentioned before, but I think it doesn't register play-off points in your career milestones. Has anyone else experienced this?
I've scoring freely (two 40 point games in the Eastern Conference Finals) and I've been on 4940 points for ages. Does it update after the post season?
ThanksComment

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
That's something I'm trying to figure out. I don't mind shooting from the outside when I have an open shot, but every once in awhile I'd like to cut inside for a nice slam dunk(or layup), but can't because regardless of the player defending me, it's "THOU SHALT NOT PASS". Doesn't help that my teammates on the Warriors don't seem to pick up that I want a pick so I can get inside!Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
I've actually noticed the opposite with my PG on the Timberwolves. My team helps way too much and too easily, even when I have my man covered. It leaves open a huge amount of guys on the perimeter."You honestly don't really feel it when the shots are going down. You don't ever get the goose bumps until the fans start to appreciate what you're doing."

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
Seems everyone on the parimeter is a good three point shooter and with A Bogut and D Lee in the low post, has anyone else noticed how good the new look Warriors are when playing with updated Rosters that includes the recent NBA trade activity. The Warriors are now like an improved verison of Orlando and a good destination to start your MPComment

This is my PF Mike Skywalker dunking over 2 Grizzlies in a 94-80 win. He had 18pts 6rbs 1ast 1blk Thunder improves to 8-6 on the season 2-0 with Skywalker.

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
Does CAL have the draft glitch where the same teams are in the same order every year? This alone will make me switch over from MPComment

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
Started a new MP, a 2 guard that can score with ease.
I did pretty well in the Rookie Showcase, scoring 32 points, grabbing 4 boards, and dishing out 2 dimes, and shot 56% from the field.
I got interviewed by the Bobcats, the Bucks, and the Warriors. Sadly, I went to the Warriors, again.
I really wanted to play with Kemba Walker, but oh well. I also heard you got to start right away too. Oh well.

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
The only flaw there really is in playing CAL for me, is the fact that the announcers don't say my nickname anymore, but rather they call me #31. I'm not sure that that matters for people with last names that are already in the game, but if they can't pronounce your last name - all you'll hear them refer to you as is your number.Last edited by TheBadMammaJamma; 03-27-2012, 03:21 PM.NBA - CHICAGO BULLS

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
Now, I'm not to the draft yet - but from what I've heard there is no draft glitch in Create a Legend; that's strictly My Player. So that's good enough to have me continue my CAL. I've been dying to play with a PF, so I've been toying around with this one all day, and I'm currently the 6th man on the Hornets. However, I'm not sure if I'm going to stay here. They have both Okafor and Landry that will be playing the 4, taking almost all of my minutes.

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
I noticed that too, so I used the player naming tool to pick a name the announcers understand for my CAL player.
I have not got to the end of the year yet to evaluate the draft situation in CAL, but if the draft is not broken like in MP, that is a hudge plus to using this mode.
I also am not sure about the effect of team chemistry in CAL, since they did away with the player buzz rating.
So far, I am having a good time with my rookie PG in a CAL league. I started as the 6th man on the Lakers, but quickly took over the starting PG role with my play on the court.Comment
