Funny thing is, I like playing as the C. Can really take over a game from down there. Guess if I dont have fun with this, I will roll with my own Kobe at the Shooting Guard lol

I think I have about 5-10+ key games left in my PF's 3rd year. The ratings I want to boost before my contract is up Off/Def Awr maxed, Hands, Def Low Post/Strength/FT(next) to 90. Besides Strength, none of them are expensive.

what i did notice, the lottery picks are realistic and develop into great players, one on my team is currently 89 OVR.

also, bad teams will eventually make moves, but not all of them do and it'll take a while. a lot of random stuff will happen, though

for example, in my myplayer, chris paul and james harden are now on the cavaliers through free agency, after 3 seasons lebron signed with the celtics, i went back into a save for 1 game to see if he'd do it again, and he did.

amar'e stoudemire signed with the magic, bogut to the bobcats etc etc, eventually it gets crazy but no blockbuster trades have really happened for me, but if you plan on playing long-term with a struggling team, top 5 draft picks will eventually be 90+ ovr usually, or at least 85ish, and your team will most likely end up signing a key free agent eventually bro
Wow, picking up CP3 and Harden would instantly make us contenders. I'm only 17 games in with my Center on superstar and I go 25 & 10 every game. Can't depend on anything happening in trade cause like I said, there is NO ONE of real value as trade bait on this team. and I dont think the draft is gonna do much for me either because of the draft glitch...Dang is there anything that works right in this game? haha

HOF is really something else, the computer really overpowers the 3 point shot.

Just had a great game before I got to go to class. I had 40 pts, 14 rebs, 3 blocks in a win over Rockets. I cant remember the last time when I won 3 key games in a row. Most of the points I scored came off of setting picks and using my A- Athleticism take over.
I got Vertical to 86, Off Awr to 84 and Def awr to 85. I will max those out, then get FT to 90, Hands maxed, Def low post.
              I avg 20.2 ppg and 8.5 rebs.

Holy crap, I had no idea there was a defense help slider on MP. I thought it was only on association. That will change everything for my team on defense. For some reason, even when I have my man covered, Kevin Love always comes in way too fast for the help and leaves someone wide open.

I is uber excited to play my next game now. :

Too bad I can't play until Thursday.

And thanks a ton to all the helpful people on this thread. All my questions have been answered, I'm ready to buckle down and get better now that I know enough and know where I want my players to go.

I probably ask to many questions, but you guys definitely know what you're talking about as apposed to my friends, so it's a lot easier to just ask you guys the questions. So my current MP is a Scoring SG. 8 games into the season and I'm already at a 66 overall.

I've got all my shots to 80-84. Except my 3pt - that's still at 68, but I have no trouble whatsoever hitting them when I'm left wide open.

My layup is at 84, and my dunk is still at 25.

When I look at my team's roster, my player's offensive rating is 70. I desperately want to get that up.

Should I focus now on passing, ball security, off hand dribbling? Or should I get my dunk up? I have no clue which one will better me as a Scoring Shooting Guard. :b

This game really punishes you for not having high ball security and off hand. Unless you are planning on shooting only when dished to by a teammate, you'll need to raise those.

                    Also, consistency never hurts.

call for the ball, this is a must if your a big man. I get alot more touches now, and once you start scoring they will start passing you the ball more and running plays for you.

After 5 games I requested a trade from the Suns tryna go to OKC. Right after that I had a terrible game against the Pacers. I probably had 25 points scored on me as they had me playing SF the majority of the game and Granger and Paul George would take me off the dribble easily. BUT followed it up with my best game against the Bucks had 18pts 12rbs 3blks 1stl. Watching that Heat-OKC game last night made me request that trade.

I actually had never given consistency a thought. I get on hot streaks all the time, so if I was able to stay consistent that'd be awesome. Now, unlike everybody else that plays 2k, I don't really care about my dunk. I figure I'll get my layup to about 90, get the Tony Parker set, and I'll be happy. There isn't any benefit to being able to dunk is there? Unless raising the dunk stats boost my overall, I think I'll leave it alone for a while.

It will raise your overall, but so will a ton of other things. If you aren't interested in it, I'd wait on it. I'm not a dunker myself, except with my SF. My PGs and SG never dunk. I much prefer focusing on layups and perimeter shots.

If you are consistently getting on streaks, I would highly recommend consistency then. It helped my 3pt specialist PG a ton. Before I raised it, a single miss would kill my streak.

Three times in a row, no trades have been found. I've used a total of 9 different teams now. This is extremely annoying, as I have no desire to play on the Pistons. I'm the leading rookie in PPG, FG% and SPG. Yet no teams appear to be interested in me. I really don't want to have to create another MP, just so I can play for a different team than Detroit. Hahah.

Does anyone know how to fix the draft order problem? The 76ers get the top pick every year.
