      That is what I'm saying mate! Really unrealistic, and one of the things that needed to be addressed this year.

        That's unacceptable. It was a joke last year but to leave that alone like it was good enough? Ridiculous. It was a broken part of the game that is still broken.

          Well we know they wont get to everything. Maybe what they have improved will make us forget the lack of injuries.

              This has been beyond 2 years now.

              I don't think they've had in-game injuries in a next-gen release yet.

              What is the problem with this? You guys can revamp an entire physics engine but can't include in-game injuries?

              Can someone explain why not? Why this is so hard to include in the game?

              Why have any sort of contact if there's not going to be any reprecussions for it?

                Hopefully they take that animation out, also there is a new commentary team. I don't play dynasty or season mode so I'm not really bothered by this, although I feel u guys pain. I personally don't wanna see injuries in exhibition or online games.

                  I thought they had in-game injuries in Live 08 and 09 guess not..

                  But yall are right it is inexcusable though if they are left out again. The little limp thing was just terrible but I can at least live with it if it actually leads to an injury.

                  And bigeast is right, how can you spend all that time building a physics engine but still not find the time to include in-game injuries. I'm still going to play the game but this kind of stuff isn't something I'm just going to accept because of other priorities.

                  Injuries are a regular part of NBA ball and leaving it out is wrong on so many levels...

                    The honest answer is because it takes a lot of time and effort to build a physics engine for a basketball game, tune it and ship it all in one year.

                    There is a long, long list of things we would have loved to do this year but didn't have time for. And to be perfectly honest, for me personally, in game injuries are nowhere near the top of that list.

                    I'm honestly quite surprised at how upset you guys are by that one. I would have thought something like tip dunks/put backs which are in this year and weren't in last year would take priority for you over in game injuries.

                    I don't mean to make light of something you feel passionate about. Everyone has different priorities and I completely respect that.

                    Perhaps you could explain to me why in game injuries are such a high priority feature for you, and if you don't mind, describe for me what the perfect implementation of in game injuries would look like for you.

                    I feel if I have a better appreciation of where you're coming from, I can better represent your point of view when it comes time to prioritizing for next year.

                      Again, thanks for your honesty. You have really brought a need presence to the board.

                      This really should be top 5 priority for Elite 12. I am not getting off track, but when 2K implemented them in 2K7, it was a very realistic, welcomed change that was needed. Think about this. If you are a hardcore dynasty player, and play all 82 games with your team, nobody on your team will ever get injured! It will also add a needed "Element of surprise" or dynamic feel to online 1 v 1 matches, and team play. LeBron or Wade goes down in the 1st quarter, you have to elevate your strategy, and prove that you are better than your opponent for 1 or 2 quarters, or maybe the entire game! I think the frequency would definitely need to be perfected! This cannot happen every game! Maybe 1 or 2 out of every 12-15 would be perfect! Also, it would not need to affect star player only of course. Having a bench player go out would only increase the realism, considering players like Lebron, Kobe, have a very high pain tolerance, and rarely miss a game.

                      There needs to be 2 elements to the new injury system. Frequency, Seriousness. That is what it is all about. The injury may sideline them for the rest of the quarter, 2 quarters, game, or just a few possessions. I know that you can bring this needed change to the table rEAnimator, please make this happen!

                      Also, when can you just say whether or not you have removed pausing, and added D-Pad subs for team play! Can you make this change in the final weeks if it is not already done so! Along with lots of Elite fans, I only play OTP, and the pausing gets ridiculous! Thanks!

                        And are we able to call which type of time-out we want now? Choose when to use our 60 sec. or 20 sec.? In the past years, it would use all of the 60 sec. up, and then use the 20 sec.

                          It's not that important and shouldn't be a priority, especially for online play. I pick a team to play with online and artificially generated injuries will feel cheap. You guys act like players get injured left and right in the NBA every game. Bottom line, a lot of dev time has to go into it to get it right, and right now gameplay/controls/graphics/presentation are much much much more important. Simple as that.

                              I wouldn't say its a HIGH priority for me but its something I'd like to see in the game for sure. Its like bigball12 said it adds to the dynamism of the game and it also gives the game a realistic feel.

                              Being able to play dynasty or season and not have to worry about injuries is lame to me. If this wasn't a big thing in sports I wouldn't care but injuries happen frequently.

                              Fragile guys like Andrew Bynum or the more reckless type like Gerald Wallace aren't represented fully in the game w/o injuries. These guys are known to lose a couple games each year due to injury.

                              It also differentiate the guys that constantly take care of their bodies vs the ones that don't. You should have to think about adding injury prone vets to your team like J Oneal but in Live if you play evey game there's no risk.

                              It can also be a deterrent for guys that recklessly drive in the paint. They should be punished for that and excessive drives to the basket should occasionally cause injury because it happens all the time irl.

                              Players get hit with fluke injuries all the time so it just bothers me that once again EA isn't going to have this in their game. And to me as long as their's a slider for severity and frequency I'm good.

                              You don't need to go all out with the animations but at least give us something. Completely eliminating injuries from the game isn't the best way to go imo especially for those concerned with Dynasty modes.

                              And lastly if the game is as good as it hyped up to be I know I'm going to be playing dynasty mode. So the no injuries thing is definitely going to get to me after a while. Not so much to stop me from playing the game but I'm definitely going to miss that unpredictable element it brought.

                              I used to hate it when I would play 2K and then watch my star player go down. It was a cool experience checking the injury report and finding out they are out for 2-3 weeks. Having to adjust your lineup in game and change your gameplan.

                              Obviously you get some of that experience due to simulation but its not the same to me. So is it a game breaker no but is it something I would love to see in the game yes..
