Unfortunatley, NO!

The consoles don't give that option but the PC guy's over at NBALiveForums.com figured out a way to do this for the PC Version. It sucks for us but they seem to enjoy the game more now because they can just load up my playbooks and start playing vs any team......

But hey it only takes about 5 Minutes max so don't let it frustrate you too much. Besides the CPU will run plays and kill time off the clock if they don't get good shots.

Just curious, what console are you playing live on? ps2 or xbox? if you are playing xbox, do you see alot of studdering or choppiness when playing the game?

im not good at runnin plays or this game in general i used your sliders and i get killed by 20 points a game haha im rusty tho i don't hit many close shots with anyone on the knicks mid game is okay and 3 point well thats a iffy haha

but yeah i'l use your playbook for the knicks it looks promising

I have Live on PS2 so I don't see any choppiness or slow down at all.

Yeah EA didn't do a good job of diagraming the plays at all this year. I did create a Playbooks thread it kinda helps to explain how most of the plays work. I think if you can learn the basics of the plays it will help to understand what your AI teammates are doing overall. It took me awhile aswell but I kept watching replays and it shows you where guy's run to once the play starts. That's how I learned to figure them out. Just run like one play at a time and then watch the replay.

It's easier to assign the play to the CPU and watch them execute because they seem to run the plays as it's designed and you can see how they make the first pass then cut or screen.

hey love the sliders and playbook, makes the game much more enjoyable.
But why do the hornets have Highflyer SF as offensive quickplay?
Nachbar and Butler are the SF's and they aint highflyers.

The highflyer plays are designed to get the player open on the wing for a one on one opportunity. However the highflyer sf play works well to get J.R., who is at the sg spot, a alley oop. Looks real nice.

That is correct. Don't let the play name fool you because EA used a couple of names that people might think it regards to a certain player posistion but it doesn't. High Flyer SF is setup for explosive SG's not SF's. I"m not sure why EA named it High Flyer SF.

But the play fits JR Smith perfectly in New Orleans. I'm not that crazy to design a "Go To Play" for Nachbar........

Hey PM, need some advice from you or others that have played Live. This is my first Live game in years, and I can't play defense at all. I'm on the path for an 0-82 year. It's not looking good. I love using your sliders and playbooks, they are amazing. I get realistic #'s and stats and shoot close to 35% average per game. I use the Lakers, so I know I'm gonna stink anyway, but my closest game has been 17 pts. Any suggestions?

If defense is your troubles I would increase these sliders to this setup:

Human
On Ball Physical Defense-65
On Ball Defensive Assist-75
Fakeout Disciplne-90

Then set your shooting sliders to this so you can get up into the low 40's overall.

Short Range-34
Medium-40
Long-38

If you start hitting 3's too easy then lower it back down to about 36.
