    Won 102-97 in OT

Missed my first 7 shots and fell behind by 14. Boston was shooting lights out, going 8 for 12 from 3 in the first half. Tried the 3-2 zone and was able to slow them a little, so I kept alternating between the 3-2 and man2man. Turned up the defensive pressure and fast break, and applied some press with the 1-2-1-1 full court trap. Came back in thrilling fashion to send it to OT at 81-81, then sealed it with great offense (albeit very poor FT shooting) for the win. Man halfway through the first half I was all ready to report another blowout loss.

Their backcourt starters combined for 46 pts, 13 rebs, and 16 asts. All 5 of my starters scored in double figures, led by my true freshman SF with 20. Crazy game.

Just letting you guys know that in the next couple weeks to look out for my career legacy with Monmouth.. Gonna use the real head coach, King Rice (yes that King Rice), and take his journey wherever it takes me. He's been an assistant coach at Vandy for the past few years in real life so that's the reason I'm going with Rice and Monmouth.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

i went 30-4 in my season with UMASS(I think 7th season, 3rd with UMASS) I simmed most games, losses to Marquette, Alabama, DePaul, and MISS State. We made it to Sweet Sixteen as a #3 seed, got embarrassed. We made it to #15 ranking in the season. We won our Conference Championship. I won my 3rd CCOY and 5th straight 20+ win season. Career record is 148-77. I will stay at my school. I am not getting any good offers. My Ovr is B.
Going into my 8th season(4th with UMASS), we dont have a player over 80 OVR, but I like my roster(nobody under 69). Our team grade is 83. Great Speed throughout my roster, 5 players over 80 3pt(82 is highest), good post players. I already have created plays that most players fit. We dont have any scholarships for recruiting this year and with only 1 senior, we probably might only have 1 scholarship(roster is full). So, I will focus on HS JRs. I plan on recruiting mostly 4 star or better, since I have plenty of time to recruit them. I plan on playing most of the games this year, besides games against inferior teams.
I like our chances this year. I see a similar type of season like last year. hardest non-conference games are ND and Georgetown. I really want to to play Georgetown because they took alot of recruits away from me. Including a 3 star 7'0 Center who had B- in All three Shooting category(Close, Mid, and 3pt). I am anxious to see how he plays against me.

I tried, haha. Then again, I run cpu vs cpu, and Ohio State just Shut. Us. Down. We had the lead one time in the first half in which I thought we would just run from there. Ohio State took the lead back before half-time, and then they just crushed us in the second half. But yeah, I'm trying still, heheh...

I simmed the next season because I don't think it would be much help to actually watch any of the games considering our best three point shooter graduated. Needless to say, we did awful, but I did get some job offers. I decided to take the IUPUI job because it's a job close to home (only three hours away from the town I live in now). They have a decent roster that has the overall at 74, plus I know that Indiana is going to have some great prospects (particularly in Indianapolis and apparently in Fort Wayne and Gary). I've got my eye on this one guy from Indianapolis who has a basketball next to him. Now I've just got to play through these next few weeks and hope that he signs with us (his interest in us is really high though).

Also, I've been experimenting with different offensive playbooks with the settings. Like right now, I'm seeing how the UCLA High Post works with the team (though we lost to the Bucks with it heheh), and we're leading the Sooners 36-21 right now at half-time.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

My IUPUI Jaguars have been having a great year so far. We're currently 11-2 losing one conference game so far. Our first loss was a tough one to handle down in Florida taking on the Gators. We took a 38-35 lead into the half, but Florida came out strong in the second half putting up 45 points. Add that to their 35 first half points, and you've got 80. We didn't do so hot in the 2nd half scoring only 25. Add that to our 38, and you get 63. So Florida beats us 80-63.

Our second loss came to Missouri-Kansas City in a conference game. UMKC just shut us down in the first half, and we trailed 61-37 at the half! We put up 59 points in the 2nd half hoping to pull a miracle, but UMKC took the game 100-96.

I think my attempt at the Westhead System is going pretty good. Seeing as I don't run my offense the same as mistershadez does, I think we've put up some pretty good stats. The most points we've scored in a game was a 107-89 win over Nebraska. I guess it just depends on how the guys are shooting on game night.

In other news, we've signed the 3* Mr. Basketball from Indianapolis! He has B+ potential, and some pretty average shooting. The defense is where he is really excellent. Hopefully we can build him into a great shooter as well.

I've made a few slight changes to mine this week as I'm trying to get back into the swing of things with this game, and was just curious what kind of adjustments you made. Thanks.

Just a few things. Boosting up Game Speed alittle, tweaking a sliders a little in exhibition to see how they affect game, Free Throw down to arround 45 until figure how to time FTs consistently. I am still tweaking them as I go on. I might tweak Shot Close for user and CPU, alot of shots made around the bucket.

Thanks man. I'm pretty satisfied with FG% and offensive/defensive rebounds right now so I haven't touched that. I use Real FT% so I don't have to worry about timing either. My biggest problem is getting a balance between human/cpu fouls and turnovers. The turnover issue plagues just about ever slider set I believe though. With traveling violations being very rare, and the computer hardly ever getting a clean steal, errant passes seem to be a majority of the turnovers on this game. Occasionally I get a clean steal while the computer is dribbling, but the cpu rarely, if ever is able to do that to me. I wish they were a litlte more aggressive in that area and the turnovers could be balanced a little better. I also have tinkered some with the help defense/recovery slider. Occasionally I like to have a super fast guard blow by the defender for an uncontested layup, which is hard to get on this game when trying to keep the sliders balanced between human/cpu.

Unless I get a good offer, I plan on staying with UMass. I got a good roster. Only a few games in to my season, but I really like my roster. We have a very fast roster. Unless I am missing something, I wish I could manually set up minutes. I have good freshmen that I wish I RSed because they wont get much time at all because I wasnt aware of other players ratings. Size really matters. In my seasons with Brown, I just signed the players I could. Now, I am focusing on size more unless they have a high rating. I have 2 centers that are 7'0 245+, who are built the way I feel centers should be. I signed a 6'3 SG, but I didnt realize what his weight was until I was editing him. I was like damn he looks fat, when I notice he weighed 250. Weight really affects body type. Not even NBA 2k does that. I can have a 6'4 230 PG that looks similar to a 6'4 200 PG.

You can assign minutes in the coaching menu under rotations. If your game is anything like mine the CPU will schedule an impossible amount of minutes and then have to fix itself before you can edit them yourself.

Also, wanted to give an update on my Vermont legacy. I wanted to sim ahead to the point where my original stellar recruiting class were seniors and my 2nd great class were juniors. The team was so good they went on to win 25+ games in back to back years, culminating in an offer from Missouri. I'm not used to getting a power offer after just 5 seasons, and after briefly deliberating, decided to stay with Vermont and finish this thing out with my kids (strange how I almost feel a bond with computer generated video game characters lol). So now here I am with Vermont, pulling off a huge run in the tourney, currently leading Ole Miss in the final 4 61-60 with under 10 mins to play. This could be my last game with the Catamounts and I'm looking to move on after the season.

Current Lineup(NOt sure about names) Most are 3 stars:
PG- Two 88+ speed guys. Starter is a better defender and OCCASSIONLY can hit a 3pter. Other PG is a Freshman but raw.
SG- Both are 3pt guys(80 3pt). One is athletic and the other is overweight
SF- The only one I can think of is the Soph I signed. A 3pt guy, that can eventually can become main scorer.
PF- I dont use him much besides screens. but a good rebounder
C- Two 7'0 centers. A FR and SR. SR is my best OVR player and I underuse him, good rebounder and good defender. The FR I basically settled for when the 4 star C with B- 3pt( I really wanted him.) signed somewhere else. But he was top 40 of centers. Glad I got him. Great Size and a good Shot blocker, and has 80+ Close. Can become my best player.

That is basically want I want in my with my roster, besides the PF. With a PF, I either want a Shooter or a Low Pow Guy who is similar to a Center. I wasnt sure what I want in a roster. I want guys that can shoot 3s, but I dont run a fast pased offense. So, I create/call plays plays that gives my shooters space. I have problems against Good defenses and 3-2 defense.
Currently going after HS JRs since I dont have scholarships. I hope to sign some 4 star players, since I basically have 2 years to try to presuade them.
