Maybe if the NBA went from a 5 on 5 format to a 2 on 2.

This is seriously why I'm skeptical about this..."We can add Bron and another MAX guy, plus add someone next year with our cap space."

This sounds more like Fantasy as you guys don't have enough to sign 2 Max players & I doubt either of these players are willing to take less. As for the Miami piece, in reality I meant to say CLEVELAND is the most ready to win now if they re-sign LBJ.

Wilson Chandler also can come off the books if the Knicks choose to as he's restricted next year. This with Curry's contract get's them close

There are trade options, Curry's contract will be a valuable asset mid-season. Haywood, Okafor, etc.

I think the assumption is that Melo would leave the Nuggets to join up with LeBron and whoever else the Knicks have on the roster.

But I would also settle for Carl Landry and J.R. Smith coming off the bench. There are some nice names on that list that can help supplement any team in the league.

Doesnt Melo as the face of the Knicks make more sense then LBJ.

Just off the top, they could outbid the Grizzlies for Marc Gasol, and it's a good look.

I don't think either makes more sense than the other. Yea Melo was born here, but he was raised in Maryland so it's not really that much of a homecoming, is it?

Unless we save cap space then we won't have enough $ to offer Melo a max. Sounds Melo may get traded anyway if he doesn't sign the extension with Denver.

Denver is forcing his hand. However, Denver might have some nice CAP space next year with Smith, K-Mart and a TO on Billups. Problem is there ain't much out there for 2011.

I don't know why the Nets are meeting with Lebron for. Reading these last few pages, you would only think it's down to Chicago, Miami and NOW NY again. That's wassup.
