Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
There are legit guys out there beyond Woj and Shams. Wasn't it Haynes who had Hayward to the Cs before everyone even Woj. That was far from boring.
I just can't stand the ones who you know for sure have nothing throwing garbage out there for people to feed on. Serves no purpose.Comment

Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
Masai did end of year press conference today. When asked about Kawhi, Masai said he knows Kawhis priorities and seems to suggest he knows Kawhis decision.
He met with Kawhi and felt happy about the meeting.
Although latest reports (from Isola) say Kawhis meeting with LAC on July 2.
If Masai feels happy, and Kawhi is meeting with LAC on July 2, maybe it's what I thought where he takes some short deal with Raptors and then he's just meeting with other teams to see where they're at now, so he has a good idea in future what those teams could be like (or at least feel out how management/medical staff is)
He also ended the Wizards speculation. Said he's in Toronto long term. Raptors owners said Masai isnt leaving, and Wizards said they never had plans to get Masai, so was Wojs tweet which just happened to come out the minute the Raptors won (followed by so many positive Clippers stuff so far) done on purpose, maybe Balmer or someone got to Woj?Last edited by Majingir; 06-25-2019, 11:59 AM.Comment

The Celtics, I'm told, are emerging as a stealth suitor for Charlotte Hornets free agent Kemba Walker
I don’t believe it. But by all means get your hopes up, fellow C’s fans.Comment

Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
But I like to talk about fit with the core. And as of right now it's Tatum and Brown. And I think I've said this before. I like Walker. But I'd rather get Rubio right now. He's probably cheaper (I don't know the numbers like that). And he just fits really well with 2 young ball hungry wings like these 2. I like Walker. But he would kind of bring the same thing Kyrie brought. And I didn't even mention Hayward. I'd take Rubio and some defensive big.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
See I think Kemba would be less like playing with Kyrie and more like how it was with Rozier only a lot better.Comment

Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
Kemba in Boston hmmm....
Pro: He's a very good player... most likely the best available for Boston this offseason
Con: He's not a big man which is our biggest need and we would have very little money to sign anyone after him
Pro: Could be like a better version of IT (on both ends)
Con: he's kind of short and not good defensively.
Pro: not as good offensively as Kyrie but still instant offense
Con: Attitude and teammate wise he should be much better than either Kyrie or Rozier
Pro: He should take pressure off of the Jay's and Hayward since he would be the teams best scorer
Con: He's a high usage PG who needs the ball in his hands and would take touches/shots away "the Jay's" and Hayward
Pro: If he wore #8 we can recycle our Antonie Walker jersey'sSpoiler
In conclusion, I'm indifferent... I would much rather have a center but there really isn't one available that's worth the max. Bringing in a less expensive PG who would allow some money for a center would be an intriguing option, as well. But if Kemba is on the way, I certainly won't complain. My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
Why would Boston sign anyone whose main skill is to score ? They have plenty of that with Brown, Tatum and Heyward. It would also be a poor choice to bring in another guy in his prime that would again seem to stunt the growth of your young players.Retro Redemption - Starting over with a oldschool PowerBone Offense

Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
Kemba would be perfect for not in title contention anymore but fun competitive team.
I dunno what they'd do for Bigs but when have Smarf at Center you don't need any bigs.Wolverines Packers Cubs Celtics
