Conley is a huge addition to that team. also Conley is going to help Mitchell a ton. Conley is the guy in that group.

I'm going to need to see it with Gobert defense in the postseason though because frankly it hasn't translated.

How is that any different than claiming the Lakers are the team to beat after getting AD? Might as well not make any speculation about any topic until we see how things pan out. This isnt new to talking sports. Lol

You noted what Jazzman said. Then ignored that other part where he said that they couldn't keep up with what they had at the time...which Conley should help with. A LOT.

So either you just aren't high on Conley or the Jazz as a whole or both. And that's fine. We just disagree on that completely.

Most things are really just speculation cuz of the potential the players have, but definitely only time will tell. I'll never forget when we made the trades for PG and Melo in 2017 to make our "Big 3". I was so hype. I thought we were a sure fire lock for the west finals at least, but we ended up just being a total bust. So while we can speculate on what we think things will be like, truth is yes you never really know for sure. Regardless, I still think Conley will be a big help to this Utah team.

John is a nice fit on the Bucks. He's been on that bench for a while now.

I read something from Lakers source that claims LAC could very well be paying off media to sell them in a way more favorable light/help them lure FA(specifically Kawhi).

Would that be so surprising? Look how often they all suddenly talk about Clippers. And literally the minute the Raptors won the title, Woj drops a woj bomb that Wizards are gonna make a huge offer to Masai(trying to paint picture of FO instability with Raptors being without a president going into FA). A report later denied by the Wizards themselves.

No doubt Clippers are involved in all this.

Agenda Woj is having it out with Lakers fans right now.

I think it's fairly obvious. When's the last time the media said something good about the Lakers? Their assets went from "trash, which is why Demps didn't accept the deal in February" to "the Lakers got fleeced" when it was the same damn assets.

Ramona Shelbourne, supposedly Jeanie's mouthpiece comes out today and reports that the Lakers FO basically forgot to discuss when the trade should take place after agreeing to it. I'm sorry but that doesn't make any sense to me, unless Jeanie really is that dumb? Say it were true, why would you let that get reported? Like wtf? From what I've read, Ramona supposedly got shut out once Magic left but who really knows anymore?

Back to the Clippers though, Woj today on TV said "The Raptors have done everything they can but still have a long way to catch the Clippers and are running out of time". Woj is clearly Ballmer's mouthpiece. Don't think he talks about any other team in a negative light like he does the Lakers. Of course his hatred for LeBron is well documented and runs 10+ years back and now it's carried over onto the Lakers as well, which fits well with Ballmer's agenda.

My guess is the Bucks waive and stretch him. They need to open up cap space to keep all of their players.

I find this really hard to believe.

I think most teams out West are going to go for it rather than dial it back.
My guess is Presti will not give up Adams unless it's a out of this world offer...the Thunder have no cap room but have alot of great trade assets...im sick of the frost round exits so he needs to do something.

He won’t be on the bench long. Waiving him gets us up to $19 mil in cap space. If we find someone to take Ersan for free we get up to $26 mil to make a big splash before we sign Brog/Middleton back (or potentially sign Brook, 1 or 2 other decent guys, and then sign Brog/Middleton, assuming they both want to stay in Milwaukee which isn’t a guarantee).

It's possible we just stand pat, keep Leuer as an expiring, and simply bring Brook, Brog, and Middleton back but we'll see. Could get up over $20 million by trading Ilyasova and keeping Leuer as well.

Celtics looking to move Aron Baynes $5.4M expiring contract in hopes of taking no salary back.

Could be a busy night for them.

Woj reported this though. I don't know if he has an agenda against Aussies or not so take the report as you will.

So when does everyone realize the GA is never going to win a title for the bucks because they refuse to go in the luxury tax ? That's what 10 draft future picks they have gave away this year to either shed $ or for rental players. This is before they even have to pay Middleton and Brogdon and before the supermax kicks in.

Unless they let Middleton and or Brogdon walk this offseason, which is not the expectation, they're going to be paying the luxury tax. If not this year, certainly shortly thereafter.
