Feels like it would be in the Nets best interests to me to not be bothered with all these trade scenarios and see how the roster they have constructed already plays together with what should be a fully healthy Kevin Durant unless they're hit with an outstanding off that they just can't pass up.

Re: 2020 Offseason Thread
Are LeVert and Dinwiddie okay with already being relegated to 3 and 4 wheel respectively at their ages, making that personal sacrifice in service of trying to get a ring. If they are then the current team might be able to get it done, but if they're disgruntled then things could implode, IMO.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Re: 2020 Offseason Thread
There’s no rush for them to make any deal right now or prior to the season without seeing how they look with those 2 first.
And LeVert and Dinwiddie are the LEAST of my concerns as far as ego goes. I’d be more worried about Jordan than those 2, just because he was pretty much a package deal with those 2 and made some noise about coming off the bench even thought it was clear Allen should be starting.
I can see already how we gonna get some forced fed drama from the Nets this year no matter what. Just need the Bucks to struggle and Embiid/Simmons to be at each other’s necks to take attention from us, lol.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 2020 Offseason Thread
Not actual off-season “news” per say, but almost all of the Lakers draft workouts have been 2nd round projected/undrafted projected guys. Seems like they will likely be trading back, or trying to acquire some 2nd round picks.

Re: 2020 Offseason Thread
Boston guys... Would you trade Kemba for CP3?
Only asking because the more this becomes Tatum/Brown's team the more a guy like CP3 rather than a more score-first guy like Kemba might actually make sense. Celtics can also get their big man with this move as well because Hayward's money is easily swapped.
Kemba, Hayward, a pick for CP3, Adams, Schroder.Comment

Re: 2020 Offseason Thread
I would assume the Lakers are targeting him because he does what Dwight does but also has a jumper, would have nothing to do with the Rockets wanting him. Like mentioned before me every contending team should be trying to get him and likely will be.
Not sure money wise how it works for LAL. He would likely take the full MLE, seems like to offer that they would possibly be doing so because JaVale was opting out and Dwight was commanding too much money.
I would think their best option would still be running it back and looking to upgrade the guard rotation or land someone like Gallo so Kuz becomes tradable. However if a trade is already in place perhaps their return leaves them needing a big instead.

The NBA and NBPA have reached agreement on an amended CBA, sources tell @TimBontemps and me. Free agency begins at 6 PM on Nov. 20, with signings allowed at 12:01 PM on Nov. 22.********

The salary cap ($109.1 million) and luxury tax ($132.7 million) will remain the same next season. In future seasons, the cap and tax will increase by a minimum of 3 percent — and a maximum of 10 percent, sources said.********
— Tim Bontemps (@TimBontemps) November 10, 2020Besides the salary cap & luxury tax remaining the same this season as they were in 2019-20, there will be a reduction in the luxury tax bill for teams at the end of the season based off the percentage BRI decreased from initial projections during the 2020-21 season, sources said.********

Talks on opening the NBA’s transaction window — trades, contract opt-ins and outs, etc. — are progressing toward firming a date two or three days prior to the November 18 draft, sources tell ESPN.********
