Phoenix was a better team with Bridges and Cam starting at the end of last year. CP3 would be an upgrade over Rubio.
I’m sure OKC is gunning for that 10th pick in this trade, but Phoenix could still use another player or two and that’s a decent spot for them if someone like Toppin were to drop.
I think Kuz is an excellent fit for them, but I don’t see anybody on OKC or Phoenix’s roster that would make a reasonable return for LAL other than Schroder.
Perhaps Phoenix would be willing to part with 10 if it meant they got Kuz as a throw in, and perhaps OKC would be willing to include Schroder if it meant they got pick 10 rather than a future first or multiple 2nds.
No idea where any 3 of the teams interest level with that would be, but I’ve thought Kuz made a good fit with Phoenix back when “rumors” popped up last year that they wanted Lonzo. Watching Cam do so well for them at the end of this year, Kuz is slightly more athletic and a better defender after his improvement this year, I think he would be an ideal stretch 4 for them moving Cam to 6th man role.
Addition of CP3 makes it even better, I think Kuz could develop into that Tobias Harris like role on that team playing with Chris Paul.
