Torey Craig can end up being an elite defender on the perimeter, that's a great signing

I feel like Denver has had a really bad offseason. Lost Grant, Craig, Plumlee and Monte Morris, re-signed Millsap to 1 year $10M

Yeah, I don't like the move for ATL. Feels like they have too many wing players

I know it's a weak FA class but I just don't get the hype surrounding Bogdan. He's a low-level starter or a decent sixth-man and a good shooter, but like you said you guys already have Huerter who plays a very similar game, and you just got Gallinari too

It made a lot of sense for Milwaukee to go after him hard because he brings a lot to the table that they don't really have at the moment, but we're really hyping up a dude that is already 28 after three seasons in the league and he's a career 13 PPG scorer on 43/37/80. He's slightly below average defensively as well. He definitely has room to improve on both ends of the floor but by the end of his next contract he'll already be 32. I feel like you can find similar production for much cheaper

I rather have Buddy Hield just before he's a career 41% 3pt shooter. Yeah, his contract isn't the best, but I would trade Tobias for him in a second.

              Re: 2020 Offseason Threa

If we sign him and don’t trade anyone we just don’t have the playing time for everyone a few key people will barely see the court. Even if you do find 20 minutes for everyone your stunting the growth. The 11 people isn’t even counting snell who may be the best shooter on the team. Why pay someone 18 million per year that’s basically the same player as Huerter just older. Bogdanvich is 28 years old he isn’t going to get better at this stage and he isn’t a start.

I 100% put the blame for these moves on Trae Young because he made comments he was wanting to win now. The front office is bending over for him and it’s going to cost us the future. Eventually everyone will see that he only cares about his stats and isn’t a winning player.

I’ll get into the horrible fit of all of this if it goes through and I’m not on my iPad

Yeah, that's the problem when teams rush the process. The top 7 of East is pretty much penciled in. Whats the point of rushing the process to be a 1st round sweep. I rather see Huerter, Reddish, and Hunter develop more.
It's different when DBook said it. They didn't go the next off-season making rash signings. They preformed well in the bubble and gained respect around the league. They made smarter signings and acquisitions that makes sense. I like Suns chances of making playoffs in the tough West as opposed to the wide open 8th seed for East.

Yeah Harry Giles is another solid move for Portland.

Atlanta has to be making some trades right?

A trade would make sense with the amount of players we have I would strongly be opposed to that. I would go into the season and save your pieces down the line for a legit all star if your going to go the trade route One thing singing bogdanvich does do is it allows to go ahead and lock up Collins. So all of our cap space next summer would be gone.

That’s a good point the top 5 teams in the east are set

Least we know it'll be either Kings or Hawks for Bogdan. Either way both teams would need to make a trade following a Bogdan acquisition. If he returns to Kings, you almost have to trade Hield because you want Haliburton getting play time. If he goes to Hawks, you have a logjam at guard.

The hawks logjam at G isn’t as bad as the front court where 3 of our 4 proven players are 4/5. This doesn’t include the rookie we just drafted at 6 or Hunter who played a good bit last year at the 4.

If I’m the kings I would just match it trade one of them down the line.

Just now caught up on Tristan going to Boston.

For a fourth overall pick he never really lived up to it, but he’s guaranteed a couple games a year where he’s unstoppable on the boards and might even hit a 3 or two nowadays. Regardless, his work in game 6 was so important to us winning the title that I’ll always have love for him.
