Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
Just one other thing I noticed while playing about 5 fights. I routinely connected on about 55-60 percent of my punches is this too high? The computer finished at about the same, but I just chalked that up to my poor defense.
I've faced Hatton the last 3 times and he's averaged about 650-700 a fight for 12 rounds. So thats about 55 punches a round. He usually came out firing first couple rounds at around 80-90 punches....then dropped off to the 60s from rounds 3-7....and then 40-50 punches for rounds 8-12....
That looks pretty legit right?
That's with Punch Output at 1.Comment

Still testing the output, but with it at ten they just seem to throw more combos and not necessarily more punches in a round.Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
It's just too easy to win with output at zero. With output at 10, I feel like I have to perform a certain way or risk losing on the cards.Recovering slider addict...Fight Night Round 4 caused me to relapse...Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
I think you got the right idea with the stamina at 2 parker....I bumped the output up to 10 and the CPU definitely throws a lot more combos....so they really need to get tired quicker so it doesnt become ridiculous...PSN - MikeDG719Comment

I have stamina at 2 because it helps prevent ME from just dominating every fight on the cards...Recovering slider addict...Fight Night Round 4 caused me to relapse...Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
Yeah, I've bumped the punch output, but not to 10. I had guys throwing 100 punches a round that ordinarily wouldn't (counter punchers). I've moved it to five.
I also moved the damage slider back to one. I'm keeping stamina at 6 because any lower than that it's hard to throw a flurry of more than four or five punches when you know the CPU is near a weakened state.
I do love how the CPU fights back when stunned. Here's the final set, at least for a while:
Champion
2 minute rounds
Ref sliders - both 10
Power - 10
Speed - 2
Damage - 1
Toughness - 10
Accuracy - 0
Stamina - 6
Counter Window - 0
CPU OFF AI - 9
CPU DEF AI - 0
Punch Output - 5
Tell me what you think. These are good for Fight Now or Legacy. Enjoy!Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
I started my light HW to HW legacy, using the 100 cheat after the tourney, and in my 8th fight I was stunned. While stunned I fought back and KO'd him on the first knockdown. There is a real risk reward using these sliders...I love it! No other power/toughness setup seems to offer that to me. 10/10 is seemingly the most realistic, especially when you are wearing down the opponents guard.Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
I have some arcade settings with power and toughness at ten and zero and the CPU will get up five times on zero toughness just like they will on ten toughness. I've had one and done KO's with it on ten, once today. I have no clue what determines that, but I just deal with it, enjoy the challenge and am happily surprised when the CPU doesn't get up after the first or second one. The other reason I don't get irritated is I know IRL some guys can get up a lot...JM Marquez vs. Paquiao being one match like that. I think a lot of times the flush shots (flask KD's/KO's) end it on the first or second knockdown.Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
I'm staying out of this, but feel free to ask some of the other posters. Try either if them and see how they feel. The one thing that's hard to deal with is the high connect percentages (mine are usually in the mid to low 40's), other than that mine or Parker's will work if you like Champion. Jukeman's are great too.Comment
