    I havent notice that, actually Ive put output to 10 and the cpu is actually winning rounds against me and throwing alot of punches(75 by the cpu in my last fight) before on 0 the cpu would get off about 50 punches and I would always outbox them...

      Yep, that's where I'm headed too. Even with CPU output on 10, they don't just wail away. But at least they put up a fight.

        Fight I had last night in my legacy was a good split decision win....My opp throw 65per round to my 55

        I was scared to put output at 10 before because when I tested in cpu vs cpu, they would throw 100 punches per round....

        It seems the cpu throw more combo's with a higher output....Before I'd thought off awr effected that....not really sure what off awr is for now(awr to an opening maybe?) lol especially since accuracy is a slider...

        Also it depends on your fight style when dealing with punch output...Me, I throw about 1-3 punches then get out/defend which is the reason I have my power/toughness ratio the way it is....Im not really a "Rocky" fighter

          Thanks for the props, but I just love boxing and this game, so it didn't feel like work to me. I have one question: how do you jab that much on GOAT with CPU DEF AI at 10 and not get countered constantly?!?!?! Wow...On champ I get countered 3-4 times a round from jabs with AI a zero.
          I am actually not that good in the game. Have not had success in the few fights online at all. I'm just using 5 or 6 different 2-3 punch combinations that use the jab. Also, I keep movinng around the ring stick and move, blocking and weaving with the L-trigger and still get countered 4-5 times per round and actually get stunned more than what I stun the computer. I just keep with my gameplan to win the rounds without getting hurt and when the knockout arrives it arrives. A couple of fights ago, the CPU drop me with the first punch of the fight. Later I took control of the fight and won it on the cards. And this was my 74 rated fighter against a relative bum rated 65. This is why I love these sliders so much. I cannot wait to start fighting the 90+ rated Hagler, Robinson or Hopkins and Calzaghe or Jones when I go up in weight with my 80-85 Power Lefty MW.

          Yeah, my next step is to play with the CPU output to raise the challenge and get more realistic numbers. I am aiming to get 250-350 landed punches per 600-700 thrown punches for me and the CPU per 12 rounds. This is for the lower weight classes since I haven't played much with the Heavies. I am using some of the stats for good fights such as Pavlik-Hopkins & Calzaghe-Jones @compuboxonline.

            I just had my first "DRAW" in a 10 round fight against the CPU on champion difficulty. The punch output setting was at 10 and we ended up with the exact same punch landed % stats. 54% head 45% body. 600 punches for me and about 480 for them.

            I'm gonna try a few more fights with my latest settings and if I continue to get good realism I'll post em up in this thread the next few days.

              The biggest problem is that the CPU is so tentative. I think they're programmed to look for the counter first, no matter what. There are times when I just stand there with my guard down and the CPU bobs and weaves and puts his guard up without EVER throwing a punch. And that's with offensive awareness at 10. Pretty frustrating.

                Here's what's funny and at the same time lets me know these are prolly right for a lot more people. You are a brawler, I am a defensive guy and we have almost the exact same setup. That's what tells me we may have something.

                Ok guys, what do you think? How do they work for everyone else? Jukeman, if you would, post these up front. I'm done, finally, lol.

                This set right here has made the game 10x better versus the A.I. I had offline multiplayer matches with these and they were awesome. Have to really be careful and balanced.

                  I'm glad man. I am still done, lol. Once I changed the stamina to 6 that was it. I haven't been having issues with CPU punch output, but I am going to test the slider at ten to see what happens.

                    The reason you don't have problems with punch output is because you're a defensive fighter.

                    The CPU isn't independently aggressive. If you press the action, he won't, even if you don't land punches. If I sit back and jab and move around the ring, CPU fighters with the right AI style will follow me around and throw punches. But if I come right at them and throw power shots, they go into a shell.

                    Basically the game suffers the same offline as it does online. Spam punching wins.

                      I made some slight tweaks and it's much better. There's actually a sense of urgency now - I've lost a couple of decisions because I wasn't being patient with my punches and thus not connecting enough.

                              Champion Difficulty
                              Both Ref Sliders - 10
                              Power - 10
                              Speed - 2
                              Damage - 0
                              Toughness - 2
                              accuracy - 0
                              stamina - 2
                              counter window - 0
                              off awareness - 10
                              def awareness - 0
                              punch output - 10

                              Getting pretty even fights in terms of punch output and connect percentages. It's coming down to who lands the better punches now instead of just the most.

                                How are the connect percentages with a stamina setting of two instead of six? Putting stamina at six, was that for punch output reasons? I can't test now, but I will be tomorrow.

                                It is true...I am a defensive guy and a jab fiend. The K - Bro's style is what describes me best. Keep guys at a distance and rope - a - dope if I get trapped, let them wear themselves out.
