Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
Maybe I'm wrong, but isn't the CPU counter punching governed by the CPU Def Awareness, not the Offensive Awareness? At least that's what i've read on this thread.Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
What slider addresses the speed of the computer boxers? I constantly feel like I'm being stalked as they cut the ring off. Yet when you try that, you can even come close to the precision they have at keeping you in front of them. Its like your fighting on your heels and that makes the counters a big weapon for the computer.Last edited by iLLmatic; 08-02-2009, 09:15 PM.Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
This is where I am at right now. I keep going back and forth between 4 and five on toughness. Feel free to try them out and give me feedback.
I have changed the CPU AI because the CPU just got too predictable. At 10 on offense I knew what the CPU would do. Whatever I blocked the CPU would punch the other way, making for an easy counter opportunity. The CPU AI was too psychic at the lower levels of legacy on 10 CPU DEF AI, so I lowered it to seven. Since moving to that I have had the best fights ever on this game, especially with the new sliders. There have been a couple times where I countered their counter off of my counter, which was off their counter, lol. Yeah. Fighting a counterpuncher is a mother on my sliders. It also seems the CPU 'set up' their punches instead of just tossing a punch at the opening they see and going up down up. They are beyond fun and I have almost become addicted to this game since the new sliders. Fighting smart and conserving energy is important.
In my current Lucian Bute legacy I'm using to test these sliders (I have already tested in Fight now) I am 11(11)-0, but one win was a 10th round KO where I was losing on two cards and another a TKO due to cuts. When I saw the cut opened I kept working it and eventually he couldn't see very well on that side. My CAB's best punch is the jab and I made use of it until the ref called the fight. Ok, here they are.
GOAT -three minute rounds
Ref Sliders - both 10
Power 7
Speed zero
Damage 7
Tough. 4 (or 5, undecided)
Stamina 7
Punch Accuracy 1
Cntr Window zero
CPU Off AI 4
CPU Def AI 7
Punch Output 0
2 min rounds
Stamina 6
Output 5
1 min rounds
Stamina 5
Output 10
I average 50-70 punches a round with only 25 a round at times and the CPU is close to the same. Connect percentages for both sides are less than forty percent. By far the most fun I have had with this game since I first bought it. I wish online played like this!
If you use these, please give me feedback, especially on the power/toughness/damage. I like 7/4 or 5 with damage at 7 and I also like 5/3/10. I am about to fight my first really good fighter (an Andre Dirrell CAB I edited) who has jumped to about 95 ovr. He's gonna be a mother. Enjoy!Comment

I find them just a little too tough - I can win in Fight Now but it requires a huge amount of concentration and a little luck. Any tips for softening the difficulty a little - tried same sliders on Champ and found it a bit easy in Fight Now - that said it might be okay in legacy.
I have been playing with a tweaked set of Parkers Champ legacy sliders and was really enjoying them - just lacked a little Power - went the distance a bit too often early in legacy but then the boxers lack power at that stage (but also chin/stamina too though).
Even managed a 2nd round Flash KO with Parkers sliders - Lewis v Tyson - 1st knockdown of fight and Tyson didn`t get up - only seen that the once ! I`ll post my full adjustments if anybody is interested.
I will give your sliders a go - maybe with a fresh legacy - any ideas for softening them up a bit though.

Yea, you really have to be careful....every punch count, thats one thing I like about UFC....default in FNR4 setup wasnt giving me that same experience I had with UFC 2009Comment
