Parker you are right about stamina at 5. If my fight would have been longer than 6 rounds, i would have been in serious trouble. I am also using 3 minute rounds though

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
Something else you could do is make the AWR 6/6 or 7/7 to balance it out.
I also saw you were throwing 70+ punches a round, so you stayed in his grill it seems. Also remember the lower levels of legacy is a bunch of cans.Last edited by acts238shaun; 08-11-2009, 02:43 PM.Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
I was at five myself initially, but then I was gassed by round four. I realized For 3 minutes it should be a little higher. For two I do what Parker does with the 5 minute rounds and for one minute I do zero.Comment

I'd say mine or Parker's with speed at a level everyone's comfortable with. Four or five is what I use in user games.Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
This game is confounding me right now. The Power and Toughness sliders, when used with the 3 new sliders, seem to behave differently. I'm having alot of trouble figuring out a good mix.Recovering slider addict...Fight Night Round 4 caused me to relapse...Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
So I wonder if I'm the only one that's REALLY frustrated with this game since the DLC?
I'm just not having any luck getting the game to feel right. With speed up, the game moves way too fast. My previous setting of 3 feels so much harder than before. I've also noticed that several people that were using speed between 3 and 5 are now setting it to zero.
The problem with that is that I've tried Speed at zero and it sucks. The boxers feel like they're in jello or underwater or something.
I just can't get the right mix anymore - I thought the new sliders were going to be the icing on the cake, but it's like they put chocolate icing on a carrot cake.Recovering slider addict...Fight Night Round 4 caused me to relapse...Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
Nah, Im happy with my set
they work great with the way that I fight...I can see a KO in the first round or a fight going to the scorecards...after watching FNF last night, I am very satisfied
as for speed, yea It seem really slow especially early in your legacy but once you progress, you'll notice that the game will get faster
I auto train so speed dont effect my traingComment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
I guess im not going to download the dlc when it comes out to PS3.
Im doing a legacy with J. Calzaghe (20(9)-4-0) and im very happy how the game play´s.
Im using your last pre-dlc sliders parker, with two more clicks for the cpu output.Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
Jukeman, i also auto-train, and im know in the top 10 (9th) for the first time. I noticed that some cpu stats are way higher than mines. Im 24 yr old with Calzaghe and im a 76 overall (the top 5 is 85+)
Is this a "normal" value? Is this what you see in your legacy?Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
To me the best 2 power to toughness settings are 5/2 and 7/5. I don't know why, but they seem to work best.
Speed changes for me. In the beginning it's 2, when I get to 70+ hand speed it's changed to 1 and when I get to 80+ I set it to zero. I do that to get past the annoying slowness. For fight now I keep it at zero. Zero seems to show the best differential between fighters with a high and low hand speed and foot speed.Comment
