Are you kidding me? Augustus AKA "the drunken master" was awesome. He did some amazing stuff in the ring and always seemed cool.

^He gave Mayweather a good fight back in the day(was the first person to bloody his nose). And he has incredible highlights, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wvkRpykP6mQ

^^^ have to go with (a).....simply because GGG is an absolute beast. Holyfield would simply get jabbed to a slower death by the patient Klitschko

Interesting undercard to the GGG-Rubio main event tomorrow night (HBO). A possibly fading Nonito Donaire against a killer puncher in Nicholas Walters. The betting odds have it at dead even.

                Donaire 33-2 (21 KOs)
                Walters 24-0 (20 KOs)

Donaire lost a bit of his luster in losing to Rigondeaux last year, and didn't look great in his China bout a few months ago. I'm looking forward to it.

I'm even looking forward to GGG's meeting with Marco "Everlast Bag" Rubio.

looking forward to this card as well. wouldn't shock me if Walters takes out Donaire. as you said, Donaire has definitively lost a bit of his luster and Walters is probably the hungrier fighter at this point...

After GGG wins tonight, maybe they can put him in there with a guy like Kid Chocolate or something.

Nice show tonight. Donaire/Walters was very entertaining and GGG handled business as expected.

Walters looked like the real deal tonight. A bunch of good fights for him going forward, Mares, Gonzalez and maybe even Lomachenko after his next fight.

I counted three times that Donaire replied post fight that Walters "beat the so and so out of me". He was right, and it seems that he will retire or go down to S.Bantam.

Rubio's protest of the stoppage was as lame as it gets, particularly considering his cheerful demeanor after the fight. No one believed he wanted to go on.

It was refreshing to hear a fighter fully admit he got his lunch handed to him, and didn't get the L because of *insert excuse here*.

Walters is highly entertaining and I look forward to seeing him fight in the futre.

Rubio should never be allowed to fight again. He had to shed 15 lbs 2 days before the fight and still came in 2lbs overweight - and refused to try to sweat it off.
The dude couldn't wait to lay down, collect his paycheck and ride off into the sunset.
GGG almost looked disgusted. I can't blame him. You're working your tail off in a 6 to 8 week training camp, sequestered from your family and friends for that????

I didn't realize this. I must have forwarded through the prefight enough not to hear anyone say this was not a title fight due to Rubio landing at 161.8 pounds. So he forfeited $100,000 of his $450,000 purse to GGG.
