A judge giving the nod to Alvarez is just silly, but as a mma fan I've seen worse.

Great fight where the judges almost ruined it.

Byrd's incompetence or graft aside Moretti and Trella gave the last three rounds to Canelo, so all GGG had to do to win the fight was to win ONE of the last three rounds on EITHER Morreti or Trella's card.

Adelaide Byrd is a totally incompetent (or corrupt) judge. She's always an outlier or else turns in a head-scratcher of a card.

But the ultimate result is pretty typical boxing. It's always about the long-con with boxing. The rematch will be another rake for the promoters and HBO, and provides a convenient March or May date. It's always the same with this sport.

Byrd is unbelievably inept. She has a history of head-scratching, wide decisions favoring the losing fighter. She's so bad that Top Rank has requested that she doesn't work its top fights.

You called it except in this case she favored the "drawing" fighter by wide decision.

Normally I'm skeptical when people call shenanigans, but now I'm kinda calling shenanigans.

The draw decision probably guarantees two more fights between these two.
