This seems like a huge risk for Canelo, so I’m skeptical that it will be fought on an even playing field.
I’m guessing Krusher won’t be able to rehydrate beyond a certain weight.
I'm skeptical of Canelo or anyone in his camp wanting this fight. If Kolvalez loses to Yarde on the 24th it's a moot point anyhow.

Especially when there are many other options at 160 and even 168.
He has an 8-fight contract with DAZN, so we all know there are going to be some softballs in there.
If he gets KO'd by Kovalev in his 3rd fight, WTH do they do with that investment?
There's definitely something fishy going on here.

        Exactly.

Realistic fights that Canelo might take that I'd like to see not in any particular order:

        (1) Lemiux-160, (2) Charlo-160, (3) Callum Smith-168, (4) Gilberto Ramirez- 168, (5) David Benavidez-168, (6) Billy Joe Saunders-160-168

Lemieux please, that would get my *** in front of the tube., actually Benavidez too for that matter.

Count me in as well. He's a DLH promoted fighter too, so it wouldn't be hard.
But I think Lemieux is fighting at 168 exclusively now. Might be too much for Canelo at this stage in his career.

Not sure what time Kovalez-Yarde (ESPN+) will air. I think I've ascertained the time difference in Chelyabinsk, Russia at +10 hours (UTC +5) so 11 AM CST would be 9 PM over there.

It’s be nice if Canadians could get access to ESPN+

To clarify why would ESPN+ not take advantage of the Canadian market?

Kovalez looked like he was withering again but gets his second WIND while Yarde couldn't. The KO punch was a perfect power jab.

Yarde really should spar. Kovalev definitely got saved at the end of the round. I think all kovalev opponents should go to the body the entire fight.

Yeah, I can't understand how a boxer doesn't use sparring as a training tool. It's bad enough that Yarde's previous tomato can opponents didn't prepare him much for a rise in class.

Kovalez was rattled enough at the end of the 8th to have trainer Mcgirt threaten to stop the fight if he didn't see more from Krusher but Yarde didn't look very dangerous after that. Still he showed a lot of heart and his chin seems fine.
