Noles jump Georgia Tech for the #1 spot in the polls
The Noles played one of their best overall games ever under Cameel Verner, Jr last week vs Louisville, and because of it they've moved to the #1 spot in the USA Today Coaches Poll and AP Poll. They look to duplicate that performance against Wake. With FSU beating Louisville it puts them in a tie for first place in the Atlantic Divison with Clemson. So currently, the Noles are in the driver's seat to repeat as Division champions. The last thing they would need is to come up short vs a feisty Wake Forest team at home.

The Deamon Deacons return passer, Senior Antwaan Melton who had an extremely efficient outing vs the Noles last year going 19/25 231 yards and a TD in the loss to FSU. Melton has the highest completion percentage vs Florida State Defense in 2 seasons. And he looks to keep that going Saturday.

Senior WR Darryl Carrington (6'2" 200) is the leading WR for the Deacs so far this season with 24 catches for 237 yards and 4 TDs.

NFL Draft Prospect OLB Trevor Hammond(6'5", 240) is the unquestioned leader on defense for the Deacs. The Senior LB projects as a second or third round draft pick and leads the Deacs for both Tackles and TFL. Senior CB Quinton Dortch (5'11" 170) , and S Kenneth Canaan (6'0"m, 190) also headlines the backend of the Deacs defense.

    RECRUITING

The Seminoles will host a number of official visitors for this weekends game vs the Demon Deacs. Five-Star DE/LB Aladdin Bouye will headline the group this weekend.

      GAME RECAP

      NOLES CRUSH WAKE 42-13

What an offensive outburst for the Seminoles. Through the air, Sarderrious Minter was on point. Going 18/33 433 yards for 5 TDs. Sophomore WRs Jamar Reid (5 catches 196 yds) and Kennard Thomas (4 catches 132 yds) stole the show. Freshman Orbit Jackson chipped in also with 3 catches for 81 yards on the day.

On the ground, it was the Trey Wright show. The former Five-Star Freshman RB had another great outing for the Seminoles. Trey Wright finished with 18 carries for 163 yards and 1 TD.

Defensively, Freshman CB Ja'Carius Kidd had a career high 2 interceptions on the day. Today was the most he's been targeted so far in his young career and he made the Deacs pay. Along with his 2 picks he also tallied 4 PBUs.

        UP NEXT: SYRACUSE (2-6)

        12:00 PM/ET ACC NETWORK

The number one team in the land starts its November gauntlet with what most would consider a "warm up" game as they finish the year vs three straight top 15 teams in NC State, Clemson and Florida. Currently FSU sits at top of their divison in the ACC as three divison foes loom. But first, FSU must take care of buisness at home vs Syracuse.

Syracuse is led by Redshirt Junior QB Matt Smart who is completing 63% of his passes on the season. His primary target is Lance Barrow (6'3" 195) who has 567 yards and 4 TDs on the season.

Defensively, Syracuse has given a lot of teams fits with its dynamic front. Redshirt Sophomore DT Aaron Arrington (6'5" 280) and Senior DE Bryson Brizzi (6'7" 263) have caused much havoc to this point in the year. Brizzi is pegged to be a late second round pick by most draft experts. He has the length, acceleration and power and plays at a very Elite level. With FSU struggling in pass protection this season it will be one matchup to watch.

        RECRUITING

Last weekend FSU pulled in an absolute major recruiting hall receiving commitments from a number of blue chips. One of the biggest stunners was Houma, LA Five-Star DE Alaadin Bouye (6'6", 245). Bouye was a heavy LSU lean until his Official Visit weekend at Florida State against Wake Forest where then he decided FSU was his place to call home in college. Bouye gives FSU another prime Edge rusher that they need badly in the pass happy ACC. FSU already has a pledge from Five-Star Montgomery, AL standout DE Shawn Ray Butler (6'4", 255). This gives FSU plenty of options on the edge moving forward.

Other commitments of note last weekend was Four-Star ATH David Grier (6'4" , 208) who FSU is recruitng to play LB. Three-Start OT Blaine Bonner(6'7", 312) and Four-Star DT Suri French (6'2" 322).

UP NEXT: AT #20 NC STATE (6-3)

            ESPN 3:30 PM/ET

A very scrappy NC State team comes to town this week. NC State came off a very dissapointing loss to #3 Clemson last weekend. NC State dropped from 14 all the way down to #20 in the rankings after the loss. But NC State still has had a very good season to this point and FSU cannot take them lightly if they expect to come out on top. And playing in Raleigh is never an easy task.

Quarterback Titus Rivas (6'3" 218) has been a huge matchup issue for most teams this season, and FSU will definately have to keep him in check in order for them to come out successful. Rivas has been a real Dual Threat this year for NC State, hes completed 58% of his passes throwing for 17 TDs and 6 ints but as a runner he's accounted for 577 yards on the ground and 5 rushing TDs.

Sophomore Running Back Babatunde Clark (5'10" 215) is the leading rusher for the Wolfpack as he has 871 yards on the year, averaging 6.5 yards per carry with 8 Touchdowns. The former Four-Star runningvback from Barnwell, SC is a big time back with a big time future at the position.

At WR Dennis Love (6'3" 210 ) is the captain and leader of that corps. However an injury has slowed him down a lot this season. He had a monster Junior year last year with 90 catches and 1242 yards. So far this year he only has 44 catches for 482 yards and 6 TDs. He is an explosive weapon that FSU must contain in order to come out victorious.

Defensively NC State ranks #18 in total defense. This will be one of hte better defenses FSU sees so far this year. They are very big up front and will be a load to handle. DT Chris Concepcion (6'3" 305) anchors the middle and is an extremely good pass rushing DT. Pass protection has been a huge issue for FSU this season, and NC State definitely will not make it any easier.

            Depth Chart Moves

With the return of LT Marcus Black from injury, Black will start at Left Tackle over previous starter T Bob Martin. T Derique Smith will remain the starter at Right Tackle.

The starting Offensive Line will be
            LT Marcus Black(RS Fr) 6'6" 310
            LG Sanderson Hall(SO) 6'5" 335
            C Cole Chinndell(RS Fr) 6'4" 312
RG Shelvin Borker (Jr) 6'4" 332

                UP NEXT: #3 CLEMSON(10-0)
                ABC ON ESPN 8:00 PM/ET

Once again, the ACC Atlantic Division comes down between the #1 Florida State Seminoles, and the #3 Clemson Tigers. Last year, FSU needed some help from other teams to become Atlantic Champs, including a win vs Clemson at home. And they did go on to defeat Clemson as the Tigers ended the season on a 3 game losing streak after starting off 10-0. This year, the stakes are just as high yet again. And this one not only has Conference implications on the line, it also has Playoff implicaitons. A loss wouldnt necessarily eliminate one or the other from playoff contention, but it wouldnt help much either. There are currently 3 undefeated teams in country currently. #1 FSU, #2 Georgia Tech, and #3 Clemson. Virginia Tech, Kentucky, and Arizona round out the Top 6 teams as each of the 3 have 1 loss each. So this game would be huge for the committee to determine who the Top 4 Playoff teams are this season.

QB Sidney Fisher took over as the Starter at QB this season for the Tigers as backup Pu'a Kanavaii was the starter last season. Fisher this season has thrown for 2216 yards with 26 touchdowns to go along with only 6 interceptions. Senior Phillip Hill is Clemsons leading rusher averaging 6.5 yards per carry as he has 936 yards rushing on the year. Seniors Ernest Abel and Eddie Holden are two dynamic threats on the outside at WR for the Tigers.

Defensively Clemson is as stout as it gets with LB Ray Carter being the team leader in tackles on defense for the Tigers. Behind him is Senior CB Patrick Vinson the ACC's leader in interceptions (8) along with other fellow Seniors Chris Henry and C.J. Bowen. This will undoubtedly be the best defensive backfield FSU has seen all year long. Senior Stewart Beverly (6'3" 210) from Miami, FL is the Safety that will test the Seminoles often.

Florida State will also be without Backup Tackle Kevin Lewis (6'8", 320) and StartingLB Kyson Perry(6'5" 268). Florida State has fell to #4 in the polls, while #3 Arizona, #2 Clemson and #1 Georgia Tech rounds out the Top 4. Florida State is tasked in this game against a very talented in state Rival on the Road. Florida has struggled at times this year, and are looking to finish the season strong and spoil the Playoff hopes for the Seminoles.

QB Melvin Dortch will play his final game as a Florida Gator this weekend vs the Seminoles and will hope to end Senior Day on a high note. He's been pretty sporadic this season, as he's completed 57% of his passes for 20 touchdowns with 12 interceptions.

His favorite reciever is N'Za Raquel (6'4" 205) who is the SEC's leading WR with 1102 yards receiving wiht 11 Touchdowns.

Defensively, Senior DT Anthony Tutins (6'4" 290) who is projected as a second round pick will look to disrupt the Noles offense up front. CB Jaterrius McKinley(6'0 175) is the best DB for the Gators, and with the man to man scheme Florida plays will probably match up vs Jamar Reid most of the evening.

                          UP NEXT: CLEMSON (13-0)

                          ESPN ON ABC 7:30 PM/ET

Here we go! The Playoff picture is set and a huge rematch is in the balance with the Noles and the Tigers. The Tigers pulled off the victory and snapped the 'Noles 23 game winning streak 42-35 in Death Valley. However this one will be for all the marbles in Pasadena.

The key to the Noles will be to stop the running game of Clemson that gave them fits in the previous matchup. RB Phillip Hill ran for 192 yards on 22 carries.QB Sidney Fisher also had a whale of a game going 23/34 for 317 yards and a 3 Touchdowns.

Defensively, the Noles Offensive Line just didnt match-up well whatsoeever vs the Defensive Line of Clemson. The Tigers lived in the Noles backfield all night long and made it extremely difficult for the Noles to establish a rhythm for the marority of the night. In order for the Noles to come out successful this time around, they must play more consistent at the line of scrimmage.

Clay Tillman will start at Quarterback

The Noles announced earlier today that Redshirt Freshman Clay Tillman will get the start for the Noles for the 3rd game in a row. His first two starts were due to Heisman Trophy winner Sarderrious Minter being suspended for violation of team rules. Sarderrious Minter will be eligible to play this game as his suspension has been lifted, but the Noles have opted to continue to go with Tillman as the starter.

Tillman got his first career start in the absence of Minter against Clemson as he had a good game albeit two costly interceptions in the 4th Quarter. 23/42 474 yards and 3 Touchdowns are still credited to him. And against the Gators, he went 24/31 for 507 yards and 4 Touchdowns. The 981 yard total in two games are the most ever by a Florida State Quarterback in a two game span.

Sophomore QB Sarderrious Minter who served a two game suspension to end the season will be eligible to play this game, but it is uncertain in what capacity. The former Five-Star was last seasons Heisman Trophy winner.

                          #1 GEORGIA TECH(13-0) vs #4 KENTUCKY (11-2)
                          3:30 PM/ET ESPN ON ABC

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets have been dominant all season. They have won 4 straight American Athletic Conference Championships, and were right here as the #1 seed in the Playoffs again last year. They were derailed by Florida State in an upset in last years championship game, but this year they have been a team on a mission. All wins have been by atleast 14 points or more. And they just have come off of a huge blowout of #4 Arkansas in the Conference Championship game.

On the other side, if there is a such thing as a Cinderella story in college football, Kentucky is it. Kentucky has shocked the College Football world by earning their first ever College Football Playoff birth. And have had a ton of success this season going 11-2. But in order for the success to continue, Georgia Tech is waiting.

It's no secret that Georgia Tech from top to bottom is the most talented team in the country. Florida State might be second on that list atleast this year. FSU has done a tremendous job recruitng the past 3 years since the hire of Georgia Tech's old Head Coach Cameel Verner. But Verner left behind a huge legacy at Tech, and certainly left behind a ton of talent. And his former Offensive Coordinator, now Head Coach of the Yellow Jackets, Matteo Sledge has not eased up on the recruiting trail either.

Kentucky doesnt have the talent from top to bottom that Tech has, but they do have a dynamic playmaker at Quarterback in Artellos Ross. The Junior Quarterback from Destin,FL finished third in the Heisman voting. He finished the year with 3,214 yards and 1,101 yards rushing leading the Wildcats to a 11-2 season.

On the flip side, Georgia Tech has 5 projected first rounders on its Defense this season, all deciding to play in the Playoffs and skipping preparation for the NFL Combine. Junior DT Jamarcus June(6'6" 360) , Junior LB Trinidad Pierre-Ohakim(6'4" 245), Junior LB Andrew Miller (6'3" 260), Junior CB Joaquin Hansah-Bello(6'3" 220), and Junior DB Santana Dexter(6'3" 215) all are sure fire first round picks.

On Offense Titus Myrick who also is a standout track Athlete for the Yellow Jackets (10.28 100 meter PR) is the leading rusher for the Yellow Jackets as a Sophomore. WR Dylan Busch (6'4" 215), and Senior WR Carlos Ekewnsi (6'4" 233) all have 3rd round grades at WR. And Sophomore WR Tre Glenn (6'6" 210) is a superstud and leading the Jackets in yards per catch (36.5).

The Game will kick off in Atlanta at 3:30 PM/ET.

Those Pitt jerseys are incredible! Amazing considering they don't even have gold jerseys in real life currently haha, so that's cool that whichever mod you're using has them. I'm assuming that you use the modded Madden to play the games but then use an actual copy of NCAA for everything else in the dynasty? Pretty cool setup, I've checked out your posts a few times. What mod are you using for Madden? i'm not gonna life, I would love to play it. I've considered getting PC Madden so that I could play the modded version, but I didn't think that they had made Pitt in the mod at the time so I decided against it. Would love to hear your set up man!

Thanks for following! Pitt isnt in the mod but I was apart of the mod team so I created Pitt myself along with a few other teams that I play in my dynasty. But yeah, I use Madden to play the games and NCAA 14 to run the actual dynasty itself.
